Hey Michelle! Boy I was down that very same road when Kyle came home for 2 weeks. We only saw him briefly here and there. Looks like they all go thru that. Kinda hurts but they are out seeing everybody and hanging out. So what ship is Stephen going to be on? Will he be going straight to Mayport at the end of his 2 weeks?
Kyle is doing really well and really likes his job. Should be getting a phone call any minute or day now. You have a Merry Christmas too!!! ttyl

I am so happy for you!!! H has a truck also and he keeps talking about taking it to base but somehow it hasnt happened yet and thats ok with us for the most part. I am afraid for him to drive there because he doesnt know where anything is etc etc etc i know at some point in time it will be out of my control but right now he doesnt talk about it much and I dont talk about it at all!! ha ha
Yes I am... excited and wonderful.. Stephen will be arriving Tuesday now..Then leave from here to go to Mayport. Jacksonville. He has a car so it will be easy transition for him. The drive to Jacksonville is about 4-5hrs so he will be comming here, when he is able. Well that it for now. I will talk to you later... keep writing, no withdrawals hehe
I am wonderful and you sound wonderful also!!! Are you getting excited about the 18th? me too I will have H this weekend and then again on the 18th yay!!! JH wont start A school until after Christmas but we have AWAT and ATT behind us now. You are going to be just as wore out as me when Stephen gets to Mayport---every Friday after work we drive the two hours to PCola and the two hours back and we do it again on Sunday---but at least it is a little better because we were picking him up and taking him back on Saturdays then sleeping all day on Sunday--because he didnt have to be back until midnight which put us home around 2. He hasnt mentioned where he wants to be stationed but my niece who is in the Navy also is in Japan as of Thanksgiving and H seemed really interested in going there but he is a lot like Stephen---once it gets below 60 degrees he is miserable!!!! Good to hear from you---work has been really busy lately and I havent been able to get on the website----I thought I was going thru withdrawals!!!!
Way to go Stephen!!! I am so proud of OUR son!!! They shouldnt make these southern boys go where there is snow!!! poor guy is probably freezing and I wore flip flops to work today!!!
Hey! If he finishes up school tomorrow generally the ship them home right after that and then send them to their next base. Looking like Stephen is headed home like soon, soon and then on to Mayport. I am thinking you guys will be driving across the state a few times in the near future?

Morning! No email yet so one day this week I should hear from him. Yes it's very cold up there, poor kid is a true floridian. Mary who is also on my page her son Anthony is up there also, he too will fly into Orlando on the 18th or 19th. She is just thrilled - her son and mine graduated same day together, back in May and he just started A school after waiting 6 months up there. Not a lot going on here, I am headed to my Mom's for Thanksgiving to North Alabama. Okay my dear you have a wonderful day today even though it's Monday. ttyl ☺ Shirley
Good morning I was thinking about you last night---I realized it had been about a week since we talked!!! H has the same Christmas schedule as Stephen YAY!!! H is enjoying Navy life but he is running us ragged with all the driving---but I wouldnt change a thing!!! Remember your prayers today at 1300 for the 18 year old soldier that was shot at Corrie Station---next to PCola NAS where my son is.....so sad!!! Hope you have a great day !!!!!
I have had Stephen and Shirleys son Kyle in my prayers so long that I think god is thinking they are my sons!! I sure hope Stephen ends up close to home--I love H being so close!!!! H started ATT classes this past week and says he loves it. Have a grat day--gotta go check out the generator here in case the storm does something.......
Hey! Got a great email from him this morning. They are very busy now as they are underway again, and headed to much more dangerous territory. So I imagine they are pulling more duty also. He got his Thanksgiving pkg already and loved the magazines and newspaper that I sent. Hope Stephen gets Mayport!! Will keep my fingers crossed. When will he know??
