The comment on my page about being a 'Super Mom' actually was left my another Navy mom. Which I thought was so sweet. My son hasn't been by my page as of yet... would be nice, but talking to him on the regular is MUCH better! :) All is good, hope its the same on your end! Peace and Love to you!!

Dear Phyllis,
You so sweet, thank you. I tell you, God really did hear all the prayers, my old car did make the round trip. I had schedualed to have a rented car. When I went to pick it up, there was a hidden charge. Being a Bronx resident, it would cost an extra $ 55 a day. I couldn't afford that. All rented cars are for a week, whether or not the car is used. I only need it for three days.
The vocation was so fun, we were all exhausted everynight. There's so much to do there. I had my older daughter, God daughter and their friends. 5 of us.. I took the train, since there was no room, in the car.. I enjoyed the scenery going up to Massachuttes.

The other night, while going to a restaurant, Kim called....she's coming home around Nov 8.. I cried throughout dinner, the girls were laughing at me!! HAHA!!
Have you heard from Chas lately?
Getting adjusted to military life, it's hard on us moms!! UGH!!
Let me get going. Since I was gone, I am so backlogged with messages.
Thank you again.
Take care and God bless.
Barbara
Kim's sip will be the USS Normandy stationed in Virginia.

Phyllis, I'm confused...number. For calling and leaving them voice mails while deployed? If so, your sailor sets it up on his end and emails you the number.

Hello Phyllis, I hope you are having a good day. I talked to Zach briefly on Friday and he was driving around San Diego looking for a costume shop with a buddy of his...he told me he is excited that I have some other Moms to talk to...I am telling you I think I drive him crazy calling all the time. LOL! Just needed someone to share with today. I found a picture Zachary made for me when he was 4 or 5 and it was his little handprint and it had a little poem with it. Defnitely started the waterworks, but I know he is alright so I will be too. I hope I get better at the two year mark....

Dear Phyllis,
The same with Kim, she gets mad at me when I ask her if she knows anything more. Before she got the verbal orders, I'd ask her if anything has been said. She would mad. I'm just so thankful the orders finally got in. SHe hates the work she is doing while on HOLD.

I think us moms get more excited over this, what job our children will do, where they will be stationed. At least I am, I'm more excited about the Navy than Kim is!! HAHA!!

I'm cutting everyone short today. I have to get up early, I going on a three day vocation to Massachuttes!! Keep my car in prayer! It's 20 years old and has a history of dying!!UGH!!
Let m e get going.
Take care and God bless.

Hello phyllis, My son is starting A school on Monday, Oct 27th He is still new to everything. But he is very excited, I never thought the Navy would have such a big impact on him. Sounds like your son has been in for a while. Hope everything is well with him. Take care until next time. Gwen

Dear Phyllis,
How are you doing? This Navy for moms is such a blessing!
I like that, who's counting with how long your son's been in the Navy!!! HAHA!!
That was cute!! I'm probably be the same way. I'm still new around town, here!! HAHA!!

What does your son do in the Navy?

My daughter Kim finished A School, finally, after a month, she just received her orders. I have been soo excited since yesterday!!

Right now it's only verbal, probably she'll get the written orders next week.
She will be a ship, I don't know the name yet. Kim will be around Virginia.
She was trained to read the radar.

I hope to hear from you again.
Take care and God bless.

Thank you Phyllis for the comment. I am not sure if Zach loves it as much but he seems content. Some times I think Zachary worries about my reactions so I am sure there are ups and downs as with anything in life, but he is adjusting well and has made a few friends. I miss him terribly, but I have been going through this for about a year now. Glad to meet you and hope I do get to visit the ship and my son soon.
