Madline now that BC is behind you how are things going for you and your son. Has he Classed up for his A School yet and where is his school at?
My son is just finishing A school in a couple of weeks. He is in Goose Creek SC in Nuke school. he gets to coem home for a visit! Yea

Hi Madeline, I do understand how you feel. Yes sad,and I did to, when my son left for BC. I think that men don't like to show sad feelings. They want to be strong. I can assure you he is in good hands. He is safe,and he will learn alot of really good things. He will meet alot of new people and make new friends. I also felt self doubt. Like this was a mistake. It took me a while to get over that feeling. I know now that is the best thing for him and he is learning a skill. There are alot of benefits to being in the Navy. No layoffs.Just kidding. You also have all of us Mom's. To help you.We are here for you. This is my new hobbie, I really enjoy getting to learn so much. You can write to him alot. That really helps them. Have a peaceful evening. Laura

Welcome aboard!!

We are so glad that you are here! This is a great place to meet others that know exactly how you feel!
We have something for everyone here groups from boot camp moms to overseas moms and moms that like to scrap book. We have meet and greets to events that the moms set up to meet each other and have dinner or an outing. There are groups to help you with each and every step of this wonderful adventure that our children have chosen called the US Navy.

Please tell us about your sailor and what they have chosen to do in the navy and ohh yeah we LOVE pictures of everyone !!
