Hi Jenn! Congrats to Scott! I knew he could do it! I hope you have a great time in GL. Looking forward of seeing pics of one of the newest Sailors! Have fun and be safe!
Well you all our on my prayer list now and I really hope he'll pass and I hear they try and help our kids make it through, Joshua did on his last run and he was a bit worried about it. I'm so happy about that.
I think I'll take a nice BB and an entire bottle of wine with me....LOL
Hi Jenn
So even if your son passes his run this week he doesn't get to PIR on the 13th ?
Joshua made it Friday and I heard they really work with them so they do make it.
When will u know anything.?
HI Jen. One more week!! I'm so excited I can't stand it!!! I have and my sure everyone has, miss ed their boys so very much. And we are all so proud of them!! Nick wrote me two letters. I reecieved one thurs. and one fri. He sounds so excited and mature. He's so proud of himself, which he should be. I can't wait for that phone call saying he's now a sailor!!! I hope it comes really soon!! Hope to meet you next week!!!
Jenn, I just got a call from my daughter Sara, she is in Division 098 and was set to PIR on 2/13. She did not pass her run test today which was supposed to be the final run. She has been told she can run again on Friday, if she does not pass that run she will be ASMOED into another division and not PIR on the 13th. My prayers are with you and your family.
jenn, hi its keely from ship 10 and i cannot believe you are just so pretty and look about 20 yrs old, you dont look old enough to have 2 kids, omg you are just a doll!!!
It got much better the last 2 months he was home...
He was the one who struggled a bit with RULES...hahahaaha
But a good good young man and smart, I just want him to make
it and have a bright future....so many kids graduate and turn to
partying and getting in trouble...not going anywhere. I told him he either starts college or military and to pick one. He was thinking of joining since the 11th grade. We should all get a letter anyday now.
A phone call would be nice too :)
Joshua left the 17th, he's ship 10 div 100 USS Enterprise...
I did get 5 letters on friday and he's really homesick and said it's harder then he expected. I really miss him, he and I are the talkers of the family and in one of his letters, he said..''Mom, all the late night talks, I miss the most'' made me cry. I hope the next ones he's stronger, not as homesick....I'm use to noise and although I still have 2 sons at home, it's really quiet since he's left :(
His PIR is 2/13
I CAN'T WAIT... :)
Hi Jenn, my son Nate said in his last letter that he has a scheduled call on the 8th, but he said "we have" so I'm thinking it is his DIV 090. He said they started out with an hour and as of January 1st they were down to 22 min. he said, "we keep screwin up". So I hope they have some time left on the 8th. I would love to hear from him, as I'm sure you will want to hear from your son too. Have you heard from him by phone yet? If Nate does have a short amount of time he will have to decide between me or his girlfriend!! Which I understand, she'll call me and tell me everything. I'll pass on any good info to all the moms.
