It's mighty cold here in NY so I can just imagine in BL. We are so lucky to have had a nice weekend when we were there.
I think it is time to pray for A school to start ASAP for all our sailors!!

I am so cranky today...not sure why...I'm getting frustrated for Zach....I don't think his pneumonia is getting any better and he was outside yesterday shoveling snow for 5 hours...we were wearing shorts=) I feel so bad for them just hanging out...I want to go see him soon? Not during a snow storm though....not too crazy about driving in snow=) How about you...planning on going anytime soon? How is Rusty doing? Is he staying healthy? I hope so! Have a great weekend=)
Hoep all is well. Alot of our Sailors are anxiously waiting to start school. They've been so productively busy for the past 8 weeks and now this. Must be frustrating. Marcos received his phone yesterday. I called him last night and seemed tired (BORED) Just doing PT and hanging out. Waiting for his classes also. We're going riding tomorrow, the weather will be in the 70's. I found a shirt awhile back but I forgot to mark the page, Have you seen it I think you would like this one It said "Don't mess with me I raised a Sailor and Sleep with a Biker! Cute Huh! Have a great weekend.
Come on guys...we have all these people in our group & only a few are coming...we need to support one another...it will be great fun & very informative....I have a couple of Navy recruiters coming to answer everyone's questions...we'll have a lot of fun at the Tampa Bay get together on March 1....please respond...

How is Rusty? HOW ARE YOU?
I'm doing great!!! It was so good seeing Nick. He looked sooo handsome. He's still in GL he got a phone yesterday and called me right away with his number. One of his fellow shipmates is his roommate, which is great!!! He sounds so very happy and I'm happy for him!!!! I miss him still but it's easier now we can talk eveyday. He called me like 3 times last night!!! I just love him so much!!!!
c-school will go until July. then ops, another training class, plus he is taking different class on how to be a leader. Like I said before tell Rusty to get envovled in anything and everything he can. It works for them in the long run. The whole idea is to move up in rank. the higher the rank the higher the pay.

I found this site: http://www.navyreserve.com/glossary/#m Just copy and paste and enjoy- it gives some of the terms you mentioned. There are many I don't know either, the Navy has some no one else uses. I hope all is well with you and I hope that Rusty is getting adjusted to school.
I have no idea. He passed his run and BS, but he needs a physical and then he has to find a flight to SC. Last I heard from him was on Friday. It is hard to say how long he will be in GL so i can't make plans to see him. I told him bless who ever he marries, this not knowing drives me nuts. I am learning how to be more patient. It will be a sweet day when I do see him. Hopefully within the next month. I have plans to go to SC on the last weekend of Feb. I can stay with my sister who is 3 hours away to save on a hotel room.

I am so proud of that boy!!!! He is just so much mature than he was. I cried when we said goodbye. I hope I didn't embarrass him to much!!!! I know he understand how hard it was to say goodbye. He was getting teary eyed also. But he just gave me a big hug and said he loves ame and he'll be fine. So I'm fine now.
I hear you. Structure is always best. They can't go from one extreme to another and be happy. Let's just hope our boys get into schools soon. Hopefully he'll have his phone tomorrow and he calls me to let me know what is going on.
Tell Rusty to hang in there. I remember Josh having months at a time just on hold with nothing to do. After each school he'd have to wait for a while. Now I think he misses that "free-time."
Call me the traveling queen... just got back from Boston. Had an awesome weekend with my mom and siblings- celebrating mom's 80th! We all don't live near each other so we decided to make a trip out of it. No kids or spouses- back to childhood stories and memories. Dad passed 12 yrs. ago so this works well for us. Fun!
Yes- can't believe we are onto the next phase of N4M- A school. It really did all go so fast. So glad I checked this site out and met all of you! I felt disconnected all weekend without my computer!! Have a great week. Hope our boys are doing alright without much of a schedule.
