I love your pic of Matt. Give me a call when you can. I know there's lots going on there in Minnesota. Are you back to having any days off?

Hi, Tere, It has been a long time. How is Matt doing? We had a MN mom meet and greet up in Blaine today. I was hoping to see you there. Our next one is going to be in the south metro (by MOA or maybe in Apple Valley) I believe the date decided on was 11/14. That is one week after Alek's PIR! So I will definately have pictures. Hope to see you there.

Good Morning Tere,
My son Shawn heads for Bangor, WA this morning to join his special projects team and get settled. How is Matt doing? It is an all new experience and Shawn doesn't even know his address yet. Do you know if our sons can get us discounts on the airlines? It would be neat if we could go out together to visit them sometime next year. Hope all is going well for you.

Tere........How is my friend from Minnesota? How are you doing? How's Matt? Are things better for him? I haven't talked to you, in like, forever. Since you were here for Mother's Day! How's Jon? The hubby? The daughter? The job? The writing? etc. I've added some pictures of Morgan's FMTB graduation last month. If you haven't, you'll have to check it out. Since then, he's gone through his 2 wk CTM class. In that class he and a partner had to keep a pig alive all day. That's a story for the writer!

Hey Tere, I haven't been on here in quite some time (obviously). Alex is winding down his senior year and will leave for Great Lakes on July 14. I am having his graduation/going away party on June 20, all of our family from Michigan will be in town for it. I am planning on being on here more often now that the time for Alex to leave is getting nearer. Take care!!

Hi Tere, Leta gave me your name and said you also have a son in Bangor Wa. Is he also a MAA? Is he in the PRP? My son is Coleton and my Nephew is Chad. They are both in Bangor as regular MA's (not PRP)
They joined together and have gone all the way together so far. They are even roomed together in Bangor. Sometimes a good thing sometimes not lol)
Leta and I are trying to get Daniel and Coleton hooked up to go to church together but so far no luck. They are both the reserved type so this might take and act of God to get them to meet. lol
Have a great evening Tere and Lord Bless You. Sheryl (bbbeliever)

Ok, My gut feeling is that this is for the best and he will get a job that will probably have really good hours. I know Daniel wishes he did. Be sure and let me know what happens

Hi Tere! I'm worried as heck about you and your son. Like Leta, having been there-done that, I understand some of the emotions you're going through. Please join our Bangor group. There are other mothers, Leta - Me - Valorie - Kim who have all been there for eachother to help keep our spirits up and to prepare for the "what's next". The whole PRP orientation is such a wacky roller coaster and can make even a sane person crazy.

I LOVED talking to you and could have gone on and on lol

I have met a Mom also from Oregon whose son is a MA at Bangor but not PRP. They are a Christian family and I have been trying to get her son and my son connected as they want to go to the same church. Can you go to my page and click on Sheryl BBBeliever? Maybe we can all be a encouragement to each other? Hope our sons can be friends. Me

Hi Tere! I haven't been on the computer for a couple of days, only long enough to check in with you yesterday. Unfortunately I can't accept your friend request from my phone, I have to do it from an actual computer! As soon as I get home from work I'll do it right away. But if you want to email me in the meantime you can. I'm able to email from my phone (just not accept friend requests. Something about java script that I don't understand) you can rwach me at sweetsassy@clearwire.net

I hope you -and Matt- are having a good day!

Nick's in reserve, his first drill in 4/18 in Madison, WI. We'll see how it goes. Is Matt active? Where is he?

Take care,
Teresa

Hi Tere! Leta sent me to look for you! My daughter, like her son and yours is a prp MA serving at Bangor. I wont lie to you, the prp orientation period is six of the longest weeks we've ever gone through. The emotional roller coaster is especially difficult to deal with. One minute my Sailor would be all happy and cheerful, loving life and then the next she'd be all doom and gloom, hating the Navy and anxious to get out. It's a rough ride indeed, but once he gets our of orientation it's smoooooooth sailing.

I've heard misery loves company so I started a group for us Bangor moms, please come join it. Some of us have Sailors on subs, some Sailors who work in the offices and then some of us have Sailors who are MAs there (even a couple that aren't prp!) Anyway, we'd love to have you: http://www.navyformoms.com/group/hunkerdownhereifyoursailorisinbangorwa
