I just remembered you live in SA . . . I'm going to my son's pinning ceremony in July and wondered if you could recommend a hotel (or hotels). I am hoping to get into one of the base hotels, but have heard I might have to share a bathroom! Any info you have would be helpful. Thanks again for your "service" to our service members! You are appreciated.

Hey there gal! I miss you and I am sorry I have been so crazy at work lately that I have not been around...trying to remedy that the next couple of days. What are you up to these days? How was your visit with Paul? Danny comes home on July 2 for 2 weeks; I can't wait!!! Write back when you can - gotta run and say hi to bunches of people!

-Texas Children's is the best place to find out about your Granddaughter.
-My son DEPer Reed spent 21 days there when he was 13, after his appendix ruptured.
-We will be lifting her up in prayer, as well as her anxious parents and grandparents! The good news - she won't remember any of it.
-Take advantage of the valet parking, my car was parked (just left there) for 10 days, before we took it home and it still only cost $11 (it may cost more now, Reed is now 19).

thanks for the comments....unfortunately, I wasn't there but had HTsWife take and send to me! But I did get to see him for about 10 days the past week or so...he's headed back to Norfolk now......it was great to see him....

Debbie ...you were not rude, I was so thankful you reminded me, because I have gotten in trouble more than once, with times or dates, but I start writing and forget,,,,,so I thank you...we are excited too, Nikki will get off in Mayport so we are going there, and now they tell her she has to go right to work, because they are moving the Tridents to Norfolk instead of being in Jacksonville, that is okay we are going anyways, and surely she will get some time off in the evenings, I hope!!! Thanks again, and with lots of love for all these Navy Mom's...I appreciate each one of you....gwen

We live in San Antonio. Our Son, Kevin, just graduated to the Naval Ceremonial Guard in Washington D.C., I wanted to know if there are more events for Moms coming soon?
