Miriam I was looking at your pictures, and you look very familiar to me. This is such a small place I'm sure we have run into each other. Stephen is getting ready to graduare MAA school and has received his orders for California. I"m going to ask him if he knows Amanda.
Hi Miriam:
My name is Janie Ferguson. I live in Tavenier. My Stephen left for Recruit Training Command almost 3 weeks ago. Nice to see a fellow keys person on the site
I havent spoken to you in a while, how is your daughter doing?, kirk just got back to charleston, i had an amazing break with him, i hoped you were able to spend a lot of time with your daughter, well i hope all is well!
HI Miriam, I was talkinh to heather and she and Amanda know each other. How cool. I think I saw you and hubby today, Were you wearing yellow t-shirts? We were at the top of the bleachers and everyone cleared out so fast. Congrats again and go Cheetahs
HI Miriam, I am not sure if you remember me. I worked with your father at Principal for many years!!! I met you on several occasions. Well, my older son is off to BC on 1/20. I need your guidance!!! : ). Please let's talk soon. It is great seeing you after alll these year and thank you for sharing your stories!!
I got a phone call on saturday too! it was amazing to talk to him i only got 30 minutes because he called his parents as well just i will take anything i can get at this point, i am going down with his parents and his sister on thursday for thanksgiving, we are lucky enough to only live 4 hours away so i get to see him this week and next week!
Hi Theresa,
I'm Katrina. My son is in Div 803. He's SWCC. What is it like for you having two kids in the military. Wow, I thought one was rough! You must be so proud! I look forward to seeing you at the Meet and Greet.
Miriam, Where have you been? I have not heard from you on our group PIR 12/05 in a while. We are soon off to GL. I can not wait. I just pray the weather holds up.
Well, if you haven't already heard the news - my husband chickened out. Watching the weather and worrying about traveling in the cold with our girl he finally told me that he thought it was best to fly to GL and get a babysitter for Sissy. I was so bummed but it was easier to just agree. So, my sister and niece are coming to stay with Sissy and Jim and I will be flying in aroung 12:00 noon on Thursday. How are you doing?
have you gotten any more phone calls? i am dying for one, but now i am just excited for tomorrow because it is letter day!!! Did you get letters from veterans day, i had called kirks mom to just update her with things and she said that she got letters on friday so i check my mail box, it was the best surprise ever!!!
Give me till tomorrow to update the spread sheet then I will send it to you so you can compare for the M-n-G RSVP's... Sorry I have been working late and haven't been able to update it much this week.
I am so excited that you got another phone call, i got my letters today, i was hoping that kirk had said something about talking to your daughter but he didnt mention anything, so maybe she didnt have time to tell him about you and i and this site before letters had to be turned in, well I hope we both get more phone calls!
Miriam,
I am so not sure what I am going to wear, aarrgghhh!! I was thinking of having a T-shirt made, but don't really have the time to get it done, so I am going to keep checking the site to see what the story with the scarf is & I am going to get a carnation. I was going to get some for Joshua anyway (it is my signature thing anyway!!). I am probably just going to do the casual thing and add the scarf 7 the carnation, but when all decide what color they want to wear then I will get one of those too!!!!! We still have a couple weeks left to decide.

Miram,
I love my dog sooo much. Yes, it's the same with us. She is not just a part of the family she runs the house. We are so blessed to have her.
I am amazed that you were able to get rt flights for $107. What airline? I looked before we decided to take Sissy with us and everything rt was over $300. Then I looked again when I tried to talk my husband in to going by himself at Thanksgiving. You must be an amazing bargain shopper. I need to learn some tricks from you.
Plus, once James graduated last spring he was home with Sis a lot just the two of them. They became so close. She misses him so much. For the first few weeks (we keep his bedroom door closed) She would walk to his bedroom door and just cry to be let in. She wouldn't leave the door until we opened it and showed her that he was gone. Then she would go pout under the table until she felt better. It was heartbreaking.
Every time James sends us a letter he addresses it Dad, Kathy, Taylor and of course Sissy. It's too cute. I know he'll be just thrilled to see her.
Can you believe it's just around the corner. Soon we'll be cooking our turkeys and then we'll be packing for they trip. Hip, Hip, Horay!!!!!!!!!
I am hoping for another phone call but i know that i shouldnt get my hopes up, but tomorrow is wednesday, and i get my letters on on wednesday so that has become my favorite day, maybe they will say something about talking to your daughter!
Miriam,
Thank you for replying. I will locate a red scarf, but everytime I check the site it seems that no one has decided what they want to wear!! I did suggest wearing carnations with red, white and blue ribbons. Ok talk to you soon
