Well it starts at 11 so I think if I pick you up at 10:30 we will be fine. it is only in Tukwila this time!
So I will see you a week from saturday. See you then!
Hey Susan. Haven't seen you respond to the luncheon on the 12th yet. Are you planning to go? I can stop by and pick you us as usual if you want. Would love to spend the time with you.
Let me know.

Thank you... I am already a member but for some reason I had a difficult time figuring out which address it was.... got it now.
Hi Susan, thanks for checking. I'll look into the VFW angle, but I did see this post, after I asked about who was in contact with her, from a fellow Corpsman mom in Birmingham AL after I messaged you:
"I talk to Florence everyday! Her internet is back on. The last operation she had her heart stopped 4 times. She is very weak and she has only a very small pouch for a stomach. She as not been able to keep anything down for a good while now. She is very worn out for continual vomiting (sorry) her body is just depleted. Plus, the other health factors.
Let's keep her in our prayers. This is an outpatient procedure but, in her case they will keep her overnight. They will show her how to take care of her tube. I do have contact information. I will let you know as I know. I may be going, it is around a 2 hour drive. I will keep all of you posted!!"

So I'll keep you posted as this develops. Hopefully, the Gold Star Chapter she belongs to could provide some help too, if we can figure out who to contact. Just pray for now. THANKS! :-) (((HUGS)))
Hello dearie, how's life? :) Hey, I need your input and maybe some help from the Rescue Sailor crew soon for one of our Gold Star Mothers. She started our Navy Moms of Fallen Heroes Group. Do you have anyone in or near Dallas Georgia? Here's a message I just got from Ordy of Steel Anchor:
"Florence McSween is not doing well and very much in need of prayers right now. Our Cindy (Spitfire) from Steel Anchor.org plans to check in on her at the hospital, but we wanted to get the word out to all of you as quickly as possible. This woman has been through so much and has given so much, so not to allow others to go it alone. I firmly believe we need to get everyone together and quickly. She doesn't even have someone to help her take out her trash! This is not the way a Gold Star Mother and one of our own should have to live." Further info from a fellow Navy Mom was this: "She needs to have a feeding tube put in her small intestines on Tuesday. They will need to stop her pace maker (if I have this all right) in order to do the procedure. (one of our HM Moms who is a GI nurse says this is standard procedure) She has a Do Not Resuscitate order. Please pray for the success of this procedure and that it will help her. Please pray for her strength of will to live!"
So, any thoughts on what our Moms onsite, especially from GA , can do if she needs practical help during recovery, once released from the hospital? Her other three kids stopped talking to her after Adam died. She lives alone. :(
Hope you and Barbara did connect and had a super Moms day out! :-)
I can't believe you go out to walk the dog alone without taking your cell phone! I don't care how nice a neighborhood you live in, you change that pattern woman!! Mom says!
I need to look at see when it starts, I was thinking about leaving home at about 8:30. I could meet you at Eastgate. I'll give you a call, we're about to walk out the door.
Hi Susan, I was working on my Christmas card list and I would love to send you one of my really cute Christmas cards this year. Could you please email me or PM me your adddress. I never had a friend in Washington before, I love expanding my Christmas card list. Thank you.
Susan,
I am sorry I did not get the boxes out today. I have 3 boxes that I am sending to Kuwait. I was at the VA with hubby most of today. I will take them down first thing in the morning.
I decided not to got with her, Greg and Cristen wanted to take the pictures on Whidbey and Oak Harbor area. I did find a really nice photographer who lives on Whidbey and is very familiar with the area. He said he would take pictures from three different locations. Now we just have to wait for a the weather to cooperate. Looks like rain in the forecast all next week so hopefully the week after the rain will go away just long enough for a few hours. Thanks again Susan for all your help, hope all is going well with you.
Hi Susan, what do i need to do to sign up to be on the sailor rescue list ? I thot i did already. Maybe not. My husband is a minister not far from Great Lakes. We have several resources.available to us. Just like to help out if we can.Let me know. Thanks and have a great day.
I am happy for you that your son is so close to you! Chris is based at Lemoore NAS which is only a 17 hour drive away. Much better than Annapolis, Pensicola, Corpus Cristi or Kingsville Tx were... At least when he is back from deployment we'll be in the same time zone! Thanks for writing back and god bless you and your son.
