That's good to know. Thanks, I am a person who likes to plan everything so it's driving me crazy. But I guess I have to get used to not having plans always going as scheduled :)
That's awesome. After your husband graduated boot camp, how long did it take for him to come home and get you so you could move? Just wondering. My husband said he has to go to SC then they'll tell him to come get us.
Hi! My husband is currently in boot camp. My husband is going into nuke also. We'll be moving to SC in september :) Have you moveed to SC yet? It would be nice to meet some friends before I go.
Hello Laura,
My husband is going to Ft Leonardwood, he is training to be Equipment Operator, I am so excited that graduation it's around the corner, it's been 2 longs months for me, and I miss my husband very much!....hope everything is well with you.
Hi Laura,
Sorry I just checked my messages! Sam does not have a significant other...do you and your hubby have a friend? :) I do not know what DnD is...I'm too old I guess! I've got to go teach some piano lessons now. Will check in later...glad you got those letters!
Please get to the doctor. Remember you want to go to PIR.You need to feel great. Think of your sailor who wants you feelin & lookin great. Take care of yourself. It's really hard on you at PIR. Once your there everything is fast paced. You need to be in shape. Please take care of yourself.
aww! Kai just turned 3 months two days ago! Have you decided what you're going to do at PIR about a stroller or something like that? I think I'm going to get a sling and keep Kai in it during the ceremony. I don't want to bother trying to get a stroller around that crowd! Hope to see you at the meet n greet in 11 days!!! Yay! We are almost down to single digits! Talk to you soon
Hi Laura,
Just thought I'd tell you, I spoke to Brian (older son). He said that they get "staged liberty" at Goose Creek. As far as driving and clothes, etc. He said that if Brad talks to them and lets them know you are coming...that it is your birthday and anniversary, they might give him more. ( He said that the navy tries to show support of the wives.) He said that he may have to be in each night by midnight, but maybe not....just depends. And that ALOT of it will depend on how he is doing in school by that point. So, I know that doesn't help much...but I thought I'd pass along what I found out. :-)
We are so glad that you are here! This is a great place to meet others that know exactly how you feel!
We have something for everyone here groups from boot camp moms to overseas moms and moms that like to scrap book. We have meet and greets to events that the moms set up to meet each other and have dinner or an outing. There are groups to help you with each and every step of this wonderful adventure that our children have chosen called the US Navy.
Please tell us about your sailor and what they have chosen to do in the navy and ohh yeah we LOVE pictures of everyone !!
Please let me know if you have any questions I can help you with.
