I forgot to tell you....right after Christmas break my son and Emir, Paul, Annote all went out to a Restaurant in Chicago. I had a certificate and they all used it and had a gob of food to take back to the motel. They all stayed there together! They had a ball I heard.

Wow! I had no idea Verna was going into the Navy also! What did Eumir go into that he is there permanently? Shea has had some schooling but not his A school yet. He will probably start that in a month. What is Verna going into?

Hey Verna Aaron called this morning and he mentioned your husband as being a good friend to him. He is hoping that we get to meet at Flangian's on Thursday. We are going to try to make it. We will be traveling from TX and it is about 15 hour drive. My daughther and my two grandkids will be traveling with us. So I don't know how they will take to the road. Aaron is looking forward to seeing all of us there at PIR. I was hoping that he is getting mail because alot of our family said they were going to write to him. I read this website everyday but I don't comment too much. I enjoy reading all the comments.
Thank you Verna! It's nice to hear that he's doing better. I hated to have my doubts--but I did. The doubts have left me now and I truly believe he can do this. All of my kids are lazy--seriously. I don't know where they got it from or why but they are--so I truly had my doubts about him making it. I'm so glad he's pulling it together and proving himself. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for your family--it's going to be such a great surprise for him. Well if you need anything--let me know. Take care girly!

I wrote to Stephen tonight and I mentioned you and told him to tell Eumir that I was praying for you guys and all the decisions that are ahead of you. We are one week closer to PIR. The weeks seem to be going a little faster. I hope they are going faster for the guys too.

Hey V--I hope you're ok? I wish we could all just hug each other right now and have a good cry. It was disappointing to not have a call today but as they say "good things come to those who wait". So we will just wait and when we do hear them it will be even more sweeter. I'm sure they are thinking of us the same as we are thinking of them. We're all in this together and just like they need to stay strong I guess we need to do the same. Even though I feel like crying right I'm going to try and think positive and hope that a call comes through this week.

And like me you're probably even more sad about missing the call on Saturday but some of the ladies on the PIR board said that at least I have that message to play over and over again--and I guess that's true. We can hear their voices anytime we want now. Well keep your chin up--time heals all wounds and that time will come very soon--I just know it!:-)
How ya doing? I'm impatiently waiting. I'm hoping they will still call. It's still only 6pm there so it's not too late yet. I was so hoping for today as I have to work tomorrow night and I don't know if he'll be able to reach me there--the reception to my cell phone isn't good in the hospital. This really stinks not knowing when or what time. Well hang in there! Keep hoping! I keep imagining for that phone to ring--maybe it will soon come to be.:-)
