Mary I just got back from Florida and I loved Pensacola! Alan is doing really well and he is in such a pretty place! We toured all over Pensacola and drove down the beach WOW is it long! and we ate dinner at McGuires! My best friend is Irish so that made her happy! They know the area since he did his schooling there for the Marines too. He is a retired officer and he made sure that we were taken care of. Poor guy got off of work on Thursday night and drove until 3:00 Friday morning to get there. He loves Alan like a son and was probably more excited about seeing him than me if thats possible. He is so proud of him. Anyway I love it there and plan to make another trip in June! I hope that your Easter was great and that you had a great church day! Hugs kathy

Mary I am leaving Thursday April 2nd after work for Cocoa Beach Florida and will be staying with my friends. Then on the 9th we are all driving to Pensacola to see Alan for the Easter weekend! He is so excited. My best friend is a retired Marine officer and his A school was in Pensacola also. So he is driving me over to see him. He has actually made the arrangements for us while we are there. So I think that I am going to be in good hands.

I do so appreciate your help and I will keep in touch. I love this site because I am an empty nester and I actually think that it is getting worse the more time that passes. I really try to keep busy but nothing replaces your children. I am sure that you understand that. I am glad that I have my church and I attend school full time so that does help some. There has been nothing better though than this site. They should have a site like this at the university that my daughter attends. Although I don't think that she would like that very much! Haha! Well pray for me because I HATE to fly and get really crazy! So pray for me to have some peace of mind on the trip! Hugs kathy

I heard from Mandela Saturday. He will finish up on the 23rd of this month and he is looking fro me to come to the graduation, I would love to go but it don't seem like I can make it. So i'll look foward to seeing him when he come home.How is Dutch? what is his next move?

Hello Mary.
May God add a blessing to you and your family doing this day and the Nwe Years to come. I got a letter from Mandela , he has 3 weeks to go, you know I'm on the count down,I know in my heart he's ok I know that God is going to take care of him and he not going to take him this for to leave him now. Hi Mary, I just read that someone who also just went had 7 people and no problem? How many Div were graduating on the 19th? We have 10 Div's. We are not driving onto the base I wonder if that makes any difference?
