Tily, I'm happy to hear Ryan has started classes,I hope it continues smoothly for him. Sorry to hear he has another cold I'm sure the weather does'nt help, I saw they were in the 50's (must of felt like a heat wave) :) I spoke to Ryan last night he asked me to ask you for Ryan's cell # and his e-mail and facebook seems he lost it in his travels......He started A school classes today. I'm glad, he seemed boared and was spending to much money lol He bought an iron, coffee maker and a laptop !! Oh haircut off base and jewelery for his girlfriend.......glad the crumbcake was a hit!!

Hey there lady, how are you. Well Ryan and J are in the same ship. I did not see Ryan but did meet one of his roommates. I think these guys thought I was nuts. Some walked into the NEX and J asked them what ship they were on and the guy said that same as you 834. I asked him if he knew Ryan and he said yes, he's my roommate. WooHoo our guys are sortof together. I asked J to look Ryan up and told him that we were friends, he said he would look him up. His roommate is Cathy proud Navy mom's son Apperson.
You don't need to applogize to me. There is nothing your Sailor can do to go ET or FC, the Navy decides which he will go and sometimes they change their mind. He will get his bonus as long as his contract says AECF.
WOW!!! My jaw hit the floor , I can't believe they have your son on so much holding! Does he have to stay at GL ? Is all his training there? Did you guys know this would happen, Im sorry your son has to put up with this crap!! Unfortunatley the recuiters dont tell them everything ...they had to of known. My husband read somewhere, that there is so many A schools on hold due to too many sailors and not enough teachers. Ryan is still there, has clearance for Tues. ??? we'll see??? He is not happy , he still has to do things like bc , cleaning ship repeatedley, marching in formation, 4 hr. watches , good side is he has liberaty from 4-8 and full day Sat. He also worked the grad. yesterday he said that was fun, he also said 13 div. graduated alot of people where there. Now what will they do with them!!!!!!And the ones before and the many after!! Ryan also said he was going to try and hang with your son before he leaves I hope they get to....... I know they exchanged phone numbers and addresses Maybe they'll stay in touch. Hi Tily, my page is finally up and running. Thanks for the post on A school agendas. Unfortunately I think there is a little bit more hold time than what is stated on that post but hey, at least they are doing INDOC and SCC. I've looked all thru your page I cant find them.....and yes I'll leave my e-mail on messages.His job sounds exciting Ryan loves computers and any thing electronic ,when Ryan joined the navy he was going for firefighting and then scored high on the nuke test and decided to do that. He still wants to be a N.Y.C Fireman and wants the military prefrence which should help.
Hi Tily, I spoke with my son last night, he said your son stayed at G.L. for A school .What job is Ryan going to be doing?Unfortunately Ryan is on hold up there, he never left for A school, problem with a blood test, his cholesterol was questionable so they had to send it out , it came back fine now he needs a dr. to sign his release. He doesnt know how long this will take ,claims Dr. he needs to sign also work outside of camp too.
Tily, I just noticed that you joined the GL-A school mom's. I didn't know that Ryan was at A school in GL. Maybe we will have to pick him up some weekend and give him a home cooked meal as well. What is Ryan's classification again. J is AECF - ET.
