Sue,

I took a minute today to look at your profile. A NE to a NE!!

It sounds like Samantha has overcome many challenges in her young life and I am glad to hear she has overcome them and is following her dream. You have been a blessing to her over the years I am sure.

God bless and enjoy your trip! We look forward to hearing how it all went and seeing pictures.

Have safe travels.

Kell,
I got a letter from Sam. She sounds like she is really enjoying much of what she is doing. She said on the first test she got a 4.8. She has always really had a hard taking tests and she was really dreading to have to take the first one. Maybe she will relax a little bit now. She also 5.0'd two other inspections.
She was really bragging about their DIV. She said they are really ahead of their brother DIV. She thinks they will make the hall of fame. I don't know what that is, but it sounds good! She also said Dale Ernardt will there on Oct. 7. She wants to get an autograph for her sister.
How's Jake? I hope he is doing ok. It sounds like they have a really good team spirit in their division.
Looking forward to seeing you in 3 weeks!

That sounds like a plan, if only I knew how to do that. Do I just send you a regular e-mail, or can I just respond to the one you sent to me? I'm techonology challenged.

Sue, welcome to N4M's! My son graduated bc 8/22 and is now in Cali waiting for A school to start. i found this website the day he left and it has been my lifesaver! Never in a million years would I have guessed that by my son joining the Navy would mean I would gain a whole bunch of new friends around the country, it's truly amazing.
Your granddaughter is beautiful and I wish her well tonight in my prayers. you are both on an incredible journey, this whole experience has brought my son and I so much closer. If there is anything or any question you have just give me a holler!
When did Sam leave? ((hugs))

I would love to be a part of the group of moms. How do I join? It would be really great if we could meet while we are at PIR.
Let me know when you hear from your son, and if I ever hear from Sam, I'll let the whole world know!

Hi Sue. Welcome to the Nebraska Group. It's great to have you. It's been fun watching the group grow in numbers. You must be very proud of your granddaughter. I wish Samantha all the best with her Navy Career. My son graduated from Boot Camp on Aug 1, 2008. He is still at Great Lakes waiting for A school to start. You will have to check out the plans for the Nebraska group to meet Oct 18th. Sounds like a lot of fun! This website is a great resource for all your questions. I spent a lot of time on here while my son was in boot camp and still get on here to chat with all my new friends. Don't hesitate to ask questions because someone will have an answer. Welcome!
