Hi Sandy my sons PIR is 12/18 I was wondering if you could give me some insight as to which hotel you would suggest. Any other helpful hints would be great. My son also thinks he will get to be off for around 2 weeks after PIR can we just take him home with us??? Im sure its obvious I am very new to this process!!!
Thanks for your help. Cheryl
Hello, Sandy!
So, dejavu (spelling? lol) with surviving the boot camp weeks. Even having been through it before.. it can't be easy. Anytime any one of our 'children' (they still are.. no matter how old they are) embarks on a new life journey, we still worry... even if we've traveled the road before.
Have you heard from Michael yet? Is Tom still enjoying life in P'cola? When is his anniversary date? That has to be exciting.
Yes.. N4M was, is, and will continue to be a blessing for all of us. Happy weekend!
HI Sandy I have a PIR 12/30 for Divisions 029-040 group link under the discussion section of bootcamp forum you posted to. You may find other Moms here. Also on Oct Bootcamp Moms. Christie from AZ has a spreadsheet posted. Moms-always tyring to organize! check it out!

Awe thank you, I think we're going to fine. We just have to get past these rough first few days. Thank you for everything, by the way, spending time with you has been so much fun and has gotten me through this. I love being at your house, you make everything so much easier and you keep me laughing. We should definately be proud of ourselves for getting throught these three days. I love your son more than he knows, you've raised an amazing son and I'm so proud of him. Just remember that I'm here, and I'll be over at your house probably more than you'll want haha. I'm excited to go through this experience with you :)
Loveee you!

Hi Sandy, congratulations on your son making thru boot camp. My son is due to graduate on May 8th, 2009. I will be traveling by myself and today started to get really nervous about it. I was wondering if could share anything that may be helpful for me to know. What kind of things did u guys do with Tom? Any things to stay away from ? I really hope it's not snowing when I go. I am getting a car, but since I come from sunny Calif, i have never driven in the snow. Should I bring snow type clothes? Thank u in advance of any info you have. Was also wondering if you guys got sick after you got back. I just read that the families of the last class got sick and pink eye.
