Well Shane and I have been together for almost 2 years (in may) and he's actually supposed to graduate from A school in April too! So i really hope he gets leave after that! After that, he's either supposed to go to North Carolina or San Diego which is our hometown so i'm really crossing my fingers! :( But i'm so excited about going through this! its a really hard time sometimes but feeling like you have something to look forward to all the time is just amazing! =)

Amber, I love the new picture. You both look very happy and I'm glad you've got a date set now. Best wishes to you both. There will be a lot of lonely and hard times and many times that you will have to cry when you say good-by but it will be worth it all each time he is home.

I was talking to my mom the other night and she said isnt it weird having all these friends you have never met?? I just laughed and said well it sure feels like i have known them for alot longer than just 7 weeks.

Hi Amber. Thanks for the add. I'm not sure if I am going to be able to attend the meet and greet at Flanagan's on Jan. 8th. My boyfriend's family and I are driving out from NY, so I don't know what time we will get in that day. Keep in touch, and hopefully we can get to know each other more!
