Hi there, I am doing well. Hope your week is going good. I have been going on interviews a lot lately which is hard because nothing has come of any of them yet but I am trying to keep positive. Stephen is off the coast of North Carolina right now, just a little over 3 week underway for training and such. They have another one coming up too just to get ready for their upcoming deployment. That will be in Jan and for about 8 months so we aren't looking forward to that. But I have gotten a few emails while he has been away so that is good. And also he is supposed to come home for Thanksgiving, but our fingers are crossed that he won't have duty. That's great he is back safe and that you will see him at Christmas. Any gift ideas? I can only think of practical things lol, I want to get him something fun.
You have to wait til Christmas? That must kill you having to wait! At least its only a month and a half! We're good..Its been a month since he's been deployed..Ive got to talk to him alot! Phone,email & skype while he's in port ya know..Sucks when they lose internet for 2-3 days though.Its starting to go by faster now that i came home to FL,im here til January than goin back to VA before Dave gets home! How are you two though you havent seen each other still??
Hi! Haven't heard from you in a while and I just thought I would check in. I'm happy to hear you will be seeing Alex in 3 weeks, and he bought you an engagement ring?! That is very exciting, I hope all is well with you and your loved ones. Stephen was home this past weekend and proposed, so I guess I can't call him my boyfriend anymore lol. heyy girl, i had a question!
when alex's ship makes port if you wanted cant you go see him, because when they make port they usually have a week or two off from work, like they just have duties is misc. stuff to do. like alex was told when his sub makes port i can visit, like he could just fly me to italy or wherever they are?! =)

He is in Pensacola Florida, verryyyy farrrr aawwaaayyy :( 20hr drive, 5hr plane ride...

Awe see,thats cool. What do you send the stuff to? My boyfriend is in Panama City,Panama right now for about 2 more weeks.We just started using Skype a few days ago and makes things soo much easier! I was thinking i'd only get to talk to him maybe like 3 times a week since i was thinking it was gonna be expensive.He calls my cell from his Skype and its $.02 a min. haha if only skype worked on the ship when he leaves..ugh.Girl you are so lucky his deployment is coming to an end soon,im not looking forward to Daves at all. Has it felt like a long time or has it gone by pretty quickly?
hey girl im so sorry it has taken me months to get back to you. I just wanted to let you know that everything will be fine! mine has been overseas for almost a year now. it sucks sometimes you have good days and bad days, but if your love is strong you will make it through. your man will be just fine over there :) keep strong and just think about the good times you had with him. you will see him soon enough. it has made our relationship so much stronger because it is so hard. good luck honey and let me know if you ever need to talk im here for you!!! <3 anna
iknow 3 hours its amazing, im going up there any day i have off from work or school =) i work at the vitamin chain vitamin world. haha its easy easy money and i dont have to do anything so im not complaining, im the assisstant manager so i usually dont work with anyone its kind of nice i get a lot of school stuff done or our wedding stuff! its great.
how bout you? where abouts in virginia do you live, my parents have a condo down in calabash north carolina!
i cant wait to start school, its weird ive never been excited i just want to get into a routine and maybe ill be really busy and not miss alex as much. hopefully but not likely! i start school on wednesday and i have 6 college classes plus work full time, haha i wont have too much free time thank god! i hope everything is good with you! you dont have that much time left woot woot =) alex should be like 3 hours away from me in 2 weeks or so thank god i cant wait my birthday is sept 17 so i hope ill get to see him that weekend. i cant wait to hear about your engagement!!!!
Awe that's great!!! I'm so glad you get to hear from him so often, when justin was out their comm. would always go out for a few days and emails would get returned. So glad that's over with. But he'll be back in almost less than a month I bet you're excited!!! You should send him a little scrapbook or a book and write a letter on the inside cover. I used to get books for justin and spray my perfume on them and he told me he'd always flash the pages infront of his noes before he would read it. So cute. We're doing okay..having some problems but I'll be out there in a few weeks so we can attempt to fix things. ugh. So nice to hear from you girl! keep in touch.

thats amazing, i know communication on a sub is much more limited but its still good to know he should be able to talk to me. nothing is as bad as boot camp, i honestly think if you can make it thru that you can make it thru anything
i plan on sending him lots of stuff but i dont know how often subs will make port to pick up supplies or mail.
youre in the homestretch now, youre almost there. do you start school in sept? i start the 8th so im hoping that makes time go much faster for me, also do you know if youre going to be getting engaged? =)
Oh thats kinda stupid that you cant send him any phone cards.Hm.Do you have to wait until he calls you? You cant really call him right?..i dont know,ive just got so many questions since i dont know what to expect! ughh. && when you send him things,its only when he's in port?
wow thats so cool! didnt know it was made in NC. i live in a tiny town about 25 minutes from winston-salem. im gonna be going to school in elezabeth city so its like.. right near the border of VA and NC and its only like.. 45 minutes from Norfolk so we will be even closer when that day comes!
Yeah,i know its gonna be hard..i know it,but i just wanna be able to talk to him often. priya, my alex is in mississippi for school right now then he heads to groton ct so thats only 3 hours from me im so exctied. i dont even want to think about, he'll be on a sub not on surface.
