Hey Melody....you're so sweet!! I love looking at your family photos as well. You guys are beautiful and so happy on them all. Unfortunately, I have NOT had the opportunity yet for a tiger cruise but I'm looking forward to one day taking one. You are so blessed to have had that chance so cherish it.

Wow, you've moved to GA? How is that for you? What part are you in? I have a few friends there and have thought about visiting them. We're all well and my daughter just returned from a deployment to Europe safely and I'm a happy mom. How are your sailors and where are they stationed now? blessings, Sherry

Hi there Melody... I understand that we are all busy people. Thanks for answering the Tiger Cruise questions!! I'm so looking forward to taking one eventually. You lucky girl to get to fly into Hawaii of all places. It must be so beautiful. And to see your son and how hard he works, what a blessing!! I cannot wait till its my turn! although I have yet to do the cruise I'm blessed to have had the opportunity to visit my daughter's ship and meet some of her shipmates and check out the wardroom, galley, etc. What a treat and visit the captains deck. Our children are very blessed to be doing something so exciting with so many opportunities to advance.

blessings,
Sherry

Hi Melody, I responded to your Thanksgiving discussion. I remember reading that your son was sick in the hospital. Wondering how he's doing now? Do you have both your Sailors home for Christmas? Did you ever find or replace your glasses or are you still typing in CAPS and wandering around bumping into things? LOL Hope you had a wonderful holiday. btw: Thought I also saw you mention that you are an ER nurse. I'm pretty sure there is a N4Ms Group for Moms who are nurses. You might check the Group forum or do a search. Happy New Year and blessings to you and your two special Sailors! :-)

Hi Melody,

Thanks for sharing your Tiger cruise with us!! It sounds very enlightening and fun. So did you fly into Hawaii to get on your son's ship? If so, how beautiful that must have been. Also, curious what was the attire for family members? Khaki's, gym shoes? And how was the weather? God bless and thanks again. Sherry

Melody...i don't know about a Navy Lodge here in Lemoore. If they have one, it's on base and i don't know anything about it. Sorry.

I know there is a hotel about 10 minutes away from the base, so you would need a car, but then access to the base. Is your son in the hospital on base?

sorry i can't be more helpful!!! I've been on base when my son Aaron has been home on leave, but it's only been to the Commissary with him and that is right inside the gate, so i've never seen the base!!

You can probably reach the recruiters office here in Hanford and they can give you more information. There number is 559-584-6321.
