Hiromi: There is a DEP Picnic in Tucson this Saturday....it's from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Melissa posted it about a week or so ago. Anyway....I'm headed down there, Staci is going also and I wondered if you could make it. I'll be driving.....so just let me know. I figure I'll leave my house around 10:00 and just pick Staci up on the way.....we'll have to find a meeting place!!
Cory called last weekend and is coming in on Friday.....he'll be home a week. Can't wait to see that kid! I figure he can spend Saturday with his friends and then I'll have him all to myself on Sunday......I'm also taking a couple of days off next week.
Hiromi, hope you are doing well. How is your sailor doing? I have heard there is a lot of sickness going around at GC. Praying your son is not sick and is able to concentrate on his studies.
Hiromi, thank you for missing me :) haha. I was traveling on business. Now it looks like there might be a coffee here in the valley on Oct. 15th, but alas that is parents weekend for my freshman college student at UofA :( These get togethers aren't workin' so well for me.
Hiromi: I had a really good time yesterday.....I'm glad we had the drive down together to "catch up"!
Brett (2nd son) is having his 30th birthday on Tuesday....and his wife's birthday is Sept. 3rd! So I took the two of them, plus 18 month old, to Firebirds for dinner tonight. We had a great time....but now I'm exhausted. Life has GOT TO slow down here. Got the back yard mowed this morning and laundry finished before dinner, so that was good.
Hiromi, I was just about to write to you when I saw your note. Thanks so much for traveling our way. I'm sorry too that we didn't get to visit. It seemed to fly by! We'll have to make it a point to hang out next time to catch up ok? Take care, stay in touch.
Hiromi: Melissa isn't going to make it to Prescott.....so, let me know what time to be at the "Park and Ride" on 75th. This is gonna be great....we'll have the whole trip to catch each other up on the last few months! Bring new pictures if you have any....and I can give you a blow by blow of my trip to Virginia! Hiromi: It's after 9:00 already. I get back into town Sunday afternoon. I'll give you a call then....when things aren't so rushed. So sorry, the time just got away from me today. I'm just now doing my laundry so I can pack and leave by 10 AM tomorrow. Forever the procrastinatior!
Hey friend! I'll try to call tomorrow after work. I did a 12 hour day today...glad I slept last night. I'm leaving for Flagstaff on Friday and will be back Sunday afternoon. Paige said she would post detailed directions Friday. Talk to you soon.
Well....try to make it! Anyway....we need to get together for lunch or dinner...or something, when I get back from Virginia. I'm leaving on the 23rd and will be back on the 27th. So maybe towards the end of the week or sometime the weekend of the 1st we can do MiMi's again.
Hey Hiromi: I just noticed today that Paige has posted a Prescott Valley get together for August 22nd. I wanted to make sure you had enough notice so you could keep that date opened....I'll drive!!!
Hiromi: Got Frances moved to Tucson last Tuesday. I went over to her place in Mesa ofter work today to pick some belongings up and I'll drive them to her this weekend, spend the night with my mom and come back Sunday afternoon. It's been busy. Did you see the post about a coffee get together next Saturday (the 18th)? Several new moms on the Az page had commented about the coffees Joyce puts together in Tucson and wanted to know if there were any in the Phx area...so I kinda threw one together. It's at The Corner Bakery on 83rd Ave just south of Bell....if you can, please join us. So far, it's me and 3 new moms! That's my last weekend before I leave for Virginia (the 23rd) to see Cory, so everything is kinda rushed. Let me know, haven't seen you in ages!!!
Thanks for the offer! I'm almost ready to just box her up and send her UPS!!! Just kidding. I think we've got things pretty well covered with my brother and sister in Tucson....but if anything changes, and I need a hand, I'll call.

It's late and I'm off to bed....but, hold onto that butonhole attachment...put it in a safe place! When i get Frances moved to Tucson (about 2 weeks) we'll get together for dessert...or coffee...or lunch..and I'll get it from you then!
Hey.....Where oh where have you been? Did you run away and get married or something?
Lots going on. My Aunt from Mesa has been diagosed with terminal lung cancer. Right now we have her in the facility where I work. Her skilled medicare will run out July 10th and the plan is to move her to Tucson where there is more family.
Cory is ready to test (or maybe has tested by now) for gunnersmate. He left May 25th on a training excercise with a Seal Unit....I haven't heard from him since that morning. I'm thinking he will be back in a week or two. Can not wait to hear his voice. I'm planning a long weekend trip to Virginia the end of July to see him.
I've spent this weekend cleaning the carpet. I renteed a "Rug Doctor" from Home Depot....this is the first time I've done this and it was really pretty easy....just time consuming!
