Yes I was told the same about red cross but supposedly its not considered an emergency. If he is on hold and has leave days im sure they will let him go. Just tell him to go directly to them and tell them about his wife. I wish you guys good luck.
He was. Overall it is up to his commanding officer. My husband was set a week back for classing up and went in the hole with leave days. He had to put in a chit and get it signed. Is she getting induced? He was here tuesday night until sunday..i got induced wednesday morning.
I hope you had an awsome Christmas & New year!! Unfortinatly Rocky was injured and wont be graduating with 065, so I wont be able to meet you. :( Please keep my girl in your prayers, she is very depressed right now! And warn everyone about "NOT" trying to save a few bucks on nonrefundable airline tickets!
If you have any other pics of your son, please email them to me or post them on here that way I can add more to the slideshow, I only have the one so far. My email is mississippi86@hotmail.com

Hi Lora, I just saw your posting about "IA" . . . that's something that my son has been considering in case he doesn't get his top choices of duty. Don't worry too much about it yet tho' - in many cases it doesn't happen - let me know if you have any questions . . .
Hope you have a WONDERFUL holiday - GIANT HUGS:)!
Hi Lora.
My boyfriend is also in div 065 ship 09. I read that you got your first letter. I'm sure you've gotten your 2nd by now. How does he seem to be doing? My sailor seemed really down the first couple letters, but I got a short phone call on the 7th, and he talked like things were getting better. I am praying for another phone call!!
Hi Lora,
Congratulations on becoming a Navy mom! Your son will be growing and learning so much about himself at boot camp and you will be growing and learning more about being a mom in the process. It is both a scary and exciting experience.
Are you from Liberty Township in Trumbull County? I ask because I am from Austintown and our son went to MEPS in Cleveland.
If I can answer any questions or help in any way please let me know. Sure wish I had this site when Rob was in BC!
Thanks Lora. I am still trying to get over the saddest. He is my youngest. Plus today is his birthday. I don't know when he left the airport in Indy. But I hope to hear from him soon.

Hi, Lora. I live about a hour north of Ashland. I have a few cousins that live in Ashland and one who went to Ashland college also. I live 5 minutes from the Cleveland airport. The doctor I work with grew up in Cincinnati. Wow 4 boys, I was surprised when I found out my little accident was a girl. She is the first girl on my side of the family, so she is my mom's first granddaughter and since all of us are in there forties she never thought she would have a grand daughter in her lifetime.
Ryan, my navy son, also wrestled. I don't miss those long meets. My 14 year old plays baseball, that is a little easier, only spend a hour at the games versus 10 hours at wrestling meets.
We are so glad that you are here! This is a great place to meet others that know exactly how you feel!
We have something for everyone here groups from boot camp moms to overseas moms and moms that like to scrap book. We have meet and greets to events that the moms set up to meet each other and have dinner or an outing. There are groups to help you with each and every step of this wonderful adventure that our children have chosen called the US Navy.
Please tell us about your sailor and what they have chosen to do in the navy and ohh yeah we LOVE pictures of everyone !!
Please let me know if you have any questions I can help you with.
