Oh year!!! Two sailors in one day! Congrats to Matt on the crow, I know he is a happy sailor! Why do you think John didn't get orders today?? What rate is John? Could they be offering him a C school? Could it be orders overseas? Could it be???? Or damn.......I'll be wondering all night and waiting with you tomorrow to find out!!! LOL Keep me posted and a big congrats to our new Petty officer!

I look forward to chatting with you as well. My son is an OS (Operations Specialist) sonar, radar, etc.... they just got back from being at sea for 4 weeks and got 4 days off so he surprised us and drove home! (we're in MA - a 10 hr ride) !!! It was the best 4th I could have had!

We got a report date...NLT Aug 31st so I suspect hope that we will be seeing our sailor SOMETIME in August (?!) and also suspect he will have to leave a few days before the 31st due to long flight and six hour time difference. How's our SanDiego sailor doing??? Nick did call yesterday and one of his old high school flames is driving up there now and they are going to DC for three days. Says she has family in the area and they are just friends.
Wow Donna, how do you hold back the tears? What special pictures. My husband's daughter Kallie enlisted back in May 2009. She left for bc on June 22nd. It's only been a week, we miss her. But we know that she is just fine. At night when we lay down to go to sleep the youngest two say BIG prayers. We are awaiting an address so that we can send our letters. Thanks for sharing.
Pat thank you for being so helpful. Everyone has been really helpful.f it was not for you all here I would be at a loss. My ex whom received the graduation packet lied to our son and did not share the infromation with me and my husband.We really want to see him graduate and through all of the wonderful people here has made that possible.
Hi Donna! Thanks so much! I am so looking forward to going. We leave next Friday very early AM. So very excited. I wish you could go as well! I will probably embarrass Matt but be sure to tell him if some wild crazy blonde woman comes running for a big hug he will know who it is! LOL.....
