I guess I am not keeping up as close as I thought. I did notice that both of you are from the Denver area. My sister lives in Thornton and I commented to her about meeting you and Ali. I guess we have to think positive since I believe tonight is the last night for Battlestations. We cannot be at Flannigan's our plane does not arrive from Phoenix until 9:30 at O'Hare. My son was telling us early on that the Division was messing up a lot but our last letter he said they were doing really good. I hope they continued to do good so they can get past this. I know I will feel better when I can see how is doing a little more often than it has been in bootcamp. I hope to see you on Friday.
Thank you for your note, yes, I will be at PIR. If you've been keeping up with Alli's comments,, she is my son's girlfriend. I'm really thinking Battle Stations will be tonight,, thinking positive thoughts. Will you be going to the meet and greet at Flanigan's?
Hi Jason's Mom-
My son is Luke, he is in Div. 062. I just read your post on Div.062,, is there a site somewhere that posts which divisions are doing Battlestations?
Thank you!
Florence, I'm sorry that you found the info after the office closed for the weekend but I think you can order them all the way up to like 24 or 48 hours before PIR. I'd try to get the order in early though as bad weather may keep a lot of people from traveling and they may sell a lot of them this time of year. Good luck and I do hope to see you next Friday.
So sorry to hear about Jason on Christmas Day. I didn't get my call from Daniel, so I was sad :(. Knowing Daniel, if he had to wait in any line at all, forget it. Looking forward to meeting you at PIR and the Meet & Greet.
Hi Jason's mom! The gift pack you have heard of may be ordered from the Great Lakes Naval Base website. Once you get there find the MWR (Moral, Welfare and Recreation) page. Best I remember, you have to click a drop down tab and find RTC graduations, click that and it will take you to a page that has a link to order the grad packs and also tees and hoodies for the division. I've not been to the page in several weeks but you should be able to find it. Go to GL Naval Base not the RTC site.
Have you heard from Jason today? I heard some 062's have made phone calls home. I haven't received one yet, so I'm just checking. God Bless you and your family and have a very MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! Chris
