Danielle is in Pensacola, she said that she will Graduate on the 26th of March, but are waiting on her order for her duty staion in Virgina. It seem that right now of all the milatary the Navy is getting a large number of recruits. Everything is backed up at all the Schools. I know that pensacola is backed up due to a new detailer ( the person who processes the orders) so she was schedualed to leave on the 27th but it looks like it will be anywhere between the 3rd to the 15th of April. I have made reservations 3 times to go see her and then they chage her watches and I have to change my plans. Tell your son to hang in there the Navy is in hurry up and wait mode .

Michael is in Florida waiting for his clearance so his schooling can start. He is loving the warmer weather. He says the base is very nice and the people a lot more laid back and friendly. I hear from him everyday now which is quite a change from before. How is Jason?
Hi Kathy. We made it home ok. I cried till after I left Chicago. It was rough. Yea the time did fly by. I didn't want to leave, but just had too. He is going to school there. Suppose to start today. Haven't heard anything yet. Back to waiting again......lol

I'm pretty sure their BS's are tonight. I have no idea how Michael is. The last I heard was 10 days ago when he said he had not passed the face down swimming and because he was sick, fell a couple seconds behind on a run. I don't even know if he will be included in tonight's BS's.
Wednesdays are when we usually get mail. My mail doesn't come until after 3:00pm though so if I am going to get a call from him, I might get the call first.
I'm just not sure what I'm going to do if I DON'T get a call or a letter and have no idea whether I should take off for Chicago.
I feel lost.

Talking about working till the last day. I can't believe it's already that time. I know all us are going to be filled with so much thrill. Pretty kewl that he sent you a drawing of where he is going to be in the group. I had asked Brandon that cuz I told him .......ya are going to all look the same to us. Hope to see you soon.
hi my sons orders have changed also he thinks he will be staying in the GL for A school.I now my son said he has been woking hard .I can't wait.so if they are doing BS on wen they will wake them about 2:00 am ,and it will last about 12 hours so they will now that afternoon,well thats my guess
HI KATHY MY SO IS IN THE SAME DIV HIS NAME IS TYSON WERE FROM MASS .GOT A LETTER FROM HIM AND HE IS COUNTING DOWN THE DAYS ,HE SAID THEY WERE DO INPECTIONS AN PT NOT BATTLESTATION YET FROM WHAT I READ ON HERE NOT UNTILL THIS COMING WEEK MAYBE WENSDAY,IT CUTTING IT CLOSE,WE ARE LEAVING THERSDAY,MY FLIGHT IS AT 9:15 AND I WAS HOPEING TO HERE FROM HIM BUY THEN OR I WILL BE IN THE GL WITH KNOW ONE TO SEE,BUT I THINK THEY BE FINE

We would like to invite you to the Blue Candle Lighting event that occurs in your home anytime you wish to light a candle for your recruit sailor or the military in general. This is done to honor their service during the holidays, birthdays, special events or if you just want to. The Home for the Holidays/Blue Candle Moms also ask you join us in this group. This event and group has no special connections to "any one group" We are all Navy Moms, Wives, and we became Blue Candle Moms.... this included everyone on this website. Please come join us and share your stories and your lightings and your holidays with your child...this was done because some moms were not having their sailors home, and we are support group that can share feelings and fears. Annouce your child is coming home or the despair of knowing on certain holidays it is your sailor we light the candles for. To honor them for the service in the past present and future. To honor those that gave the Ultimate Sacrifice for our freedom. We celebrate the freedom to be Blue Candle Moms and the freedom to light our candles anytime we choose. Please think about our group and the Event and when responding tell where you lit your candle, and the reasons for your paticular lighting. the event will continue and once you rsvp come in anytime and update your lightings
Kathy; My son called me tonight also. What a wonderful surprise. They scored higher on a test than their whole division has done in 2 years! He said that the instructors won't tell them if they are grad to go but he seems to think they will have a couple of days off as long as they are not on watch. Hope you are doing well.
Kathy I found the graduation info on the RTC site: TG 11 (11) Divisions (080-089 & 911) Graduate Friday, 30 Jan 09. Have a great time with the countdown to PIR. It will get more exciting everyday. I'm actually sitting in the airport now waiting for my flight to GL. Happy New Year!
