Right now it's still December 7th.. but his recruiter still says there is a possibility for the first Monday in August... I guess we'll see.. I was looking up flights today and I will probably fly into O'Hare too.. On another note... Do you know how long Mark is going to be in Guam?

Thanks Holly for the 411 on Battlestations. Gonna be tough, but the kids are up to it, they have waited 8 long weeks for this. So, keep them in prayer. One more strong push and they will be through. Seems like we have been pushing these kids all their lives. Not much pushing will be left. Just cheering from the sidelines for these AWESOME kids of ours!!!!!

I DID get a letter from Chris today. He had written one a few days before and then added a second little note on Sunday, so it only took 4 days to get here, better! He didn't have much to say except he got a cavity filled and his teeth cleaned last Friday, and he said it hurt! He is use to going to a pediatric dentist, so I am sure it was different! He also said time was going by fast because they were busy. Then at the end of the letter he wrote his friend Mark's mom and girlfriend's mom get on the website I mentioned! So he sounds good, he knew I was worried about his teeth, and he wanted to tell me about my sister in law sending him Xmas cookies and how the drill sargeants made him open them give them to them and smell them before throwing them away, but said they were nice about it and kinda laughed. Well, less than a month away, hopefully weather will get a little better!! Take Care, Charlene

Thank you, Holly. But, having this young sailor in my life for just a few days kept me from sitting around wishing my son were home for Christmas. Maybe we were just a blessing to each other!!! Have a very wonder-filled holiday! Julie
Holly~ It will be warm in the hall. It will be very cold walking to and fro. I'm definitely cold blooded so when I get there in January I plan on wearing gloves,a warm coat (with a hood) and two shirts. I will have one with long sleeves and a short sleeved shirt over the top of it. I hope this helps.

Well, it looks like it's just the three of us in Div. 076!!! I was extremely upset today when I didn't get my long awaited first letter, then an hour later, I got my first five minute phone call!!! I couldn't believe it was him. He sounds wonderful!!! He knows Mark and kind of laughed when I asked about him, because Mark had mentioned the website and you and his mom getting on it to Chris because I had said something about it in a letter, if that makes any sense???? Anyways, Chris bunks right by Mark!! He says he hasn't had any trouble passing pt/classwork tests, but having issues keeping his locker straight and just getting by. If you could've seen his room you'd know why!!!!! Anyways, so glad to hear from him. He says they got a foot of snow yesterday and it' FREEZING, being a Southern California boy it's tough!! Well, take care, I left a message for Colleen earlier letting her know, Chris says he wrote on Sunday, so maybe I'll get it tomorrow. Take Care, Charlene

to graduate 1/23???? Have you heard anything??? This is your daughter's

I'm actually a lot better now. I think it was just a 24 "bug". Haha yea you do win.... =D I'm very excited about PIR.
