Hi, I agree, it's definitely good to meet other wives here. We just moved in October, so we've only been here for about a month. My husband is a trumpet player at the school of music at Little Creek for A school right now, but he's going to be stationed at Norfolk when he's done, so we're staying right here! I like it here so far. We live just a few minutes from the base. Where do you live? I'm a stay at home wife for the moment until I find a job, so I'm definitely looking to meet some new people to hang out with.
We have been here since April. I love it here! Love where we live, etc. my only complaint is the job market and crummy pay. But, the DOD should be lifting their hiring freeze in October so hopefully I will get a better job. How about you?
Hey I saw your post on the Ladies of VA page. I remember your name from the PIR group I think. My husband graduated from boot on Dec. 19, 08 and we are living in VA now. He's an AZ at Oceana. How do you like it down here?
thats awesome you guys are all settled!!:-D we looked on the internet yesterday and started looking at houses/condos/apartments lol i didnt think we would find a lot under his bah but i was happily wrong! jesse still hasnt been home since bootcamp yet they kept him here twice he was supposed to come home but he should be home next weekend im in mississippi right now visiting him! i hope all is well!
george is a seabee steel worker. he says the work right along side one another! you should message me matthews last name, george wants to know who he is so he can meet him.
