Please go to the Event Forum and look at the Blue Candle Lighting Event on Christmas day.. Welcome aboard , You can light the candles from each Sailor and recruits home. Info on the Events calendar..Please share with your groups and moms from your States.
Dear Tammy,
That's great news that you do have Brandon's address.
My daughter Kim calls all the time, and still has forgotten to get her new address on her ship.!! UGH!! But she plans to drive up for New years, so I give her the Christmas presents then!! HHA!!
Boot Camp is the worst of it. Once they graduate, they have more time to call and have freedom.
Remember, around the third week, you should be getting a letter from Brandon. When you receive the graduation package, around the fourth week, please make a reservation as soon as you can.
You take care and God bless.
Barbara

Hey Tammy,
Hope you've checked out the groups tab and the blogs at the top of your page!! Stay in touch!
Dear Tammy,
Welcome aboard!! This Navy for moms is such a blessing.
I just read, Brandon just left for Boot Camp. He'll be fine. Once he gets into the rountine of it, he'll like it. It takes a few weeks, plus the recruits are also homesick. Once Brandon adjusts, he'll like, they all do believe it or not.
It's the moms having nervous breakdowns!! HHA!!
Best thing to do is keep in touch with other Navy moms, there are also groups you can join. And I'm always around, don't hestitate to write.
Together, we'll help you through Boot Camp....we haven't lost a mom yet!! HAHA!!
I hope to hear from you again.
Take care and God bless.
Barbara
