Hi how are you doing? It's been awhile since I have been on. Just wanted to see how you are. Jake is doing great down in Pensacola but is still on hold.

Hi Brenda, I just spoke to Lestter earlier about Matt and he said he is a Nuke, right? Lestter is doing wonderful in Pensacola and can't wait to come home already!!! Hope you and everyone is doing well =)
Hello Brenda, your comment just left me teary eyed!! :D I feel soo blessed to know my husband Lestter and Matt are together and Yeoman =D I can NOT wait til PIR to wish every Sailor a CONGRATULATIONS for their huge step and accomplishments in their lives <3
I hope to see you at PIR, I will be at the meet and greet at flanagans also! Will you be attending?
Trevor always sounds discouraged, I had afew people from church write to him, he says the letters are the only thing keeping him together. I finally found a motel for a reasonable price on green bay rd, onlt $55.00 a night for 3 adults. Do you know where flanigans is at? and is the invite open to all with same pir date? would love to meet all of the moms.
yes I got a letter thursday and a phone call, he said letters are very important, they really help. I started asking family and some of his friends to send him letters of encouragement, maybe you might want to do the same. He is probablly homesick, trevor said he hated it there and just wanted to come home, I told him to hang in there because he was already half way there. Somebody told me that it gets better, still waiting for the better. Hope it all works out. sandra
You received your first letter already? Congratulations!! I got the form letter today..so, maybe I will be lucky and get a real one tomorrow! If they got to write on Sunday then it should be here tomorrow IF he has written yet. He said he was doing well? Any other info. that could ease my mind or be helpful?
I am living through it day-by-day but it is so hard to not allow myself to fall to pieces! I miss him so much...I still can't believe he is where I can't communicate with him! This must be what it felt like before telephones and when they depended on Pony Express! But, it sure makes you appreciate a few lines on a piece of paper in a whole new way, doesn't it? I guess God uses these moments to remind us of a LOT Of things we need to be grateful for!
I am happy for you Brenda; so happy for you!
LeAnn
My son is not in the same division as yours but he left June 15 and got to call me on the 6th day there; but only because he was made the division's guidon! I haven't received even the first form letter yet or a letter from him but I have sent multiple letters myself already; have you written your son yet?
It has just been 8 days since mine has left and I miss him sooo much; I can't believe I have weeks to see his face again; how are you holding up? When is your son's PIR date?
Hi Mattsmom. I left a message for you on the Boot camp moms website already but I thought I would write you here too. I see you are also a Home Care Nurse! I am also a Home Care Nurse near Detroit Michigan. I have 4 children 24yrs, 21 yrs, 19yrs(Josh), and a 10yr old. I also have a 9month old grandson from my 21yr old daughter. I miss my son! He is the 2nd one to leave since my 21yr old moved to Massachusetts with my grandson. I dont like it! We are staying at the Ramada Inn when we go to Graduation and I hope it a nice hotel. Talk to you soon, Julie.
