Shelly, thanks for the suggestions. Daniel is also an MA - not sure of the initials after - ha!) We are going to stay in DC Thurs night after he picks me up at the airport and spend Fri. there, hoping to see a lot, and then back to the base and staying at the Navy Lodge Fri night and Sat. night. I really like the idea of seeing the changing of the guard. I know Daniel has been there, but I would like him to see things he didn't before. I'm so proud of Daniel as I'm sure you are Britt. Daniel is in Pax River for three years. And Britt? Thanks again for the info. Take care
How long has Britt been gone? She must be in A school? What is she studying? I can't wait until Alisha has a web cam, a cell phone, she is really looking forward a nice warm bath
Hi Shelly,
Alisha PIR's on April 3rd, I am really looking forward to seeing her. It has been a long road, but she is hanging tough. She is still the AROC, and is trying for honors, she will get to perform at graduation with another division playing the trumpet, band class did pay off. 13 days left!!!!!
Hey Shelly,
My son is Infantry. He returned home from his third tour in Iraq, this past July and leaves this coming November for either Iraq or Afghanistan. In March of 2004 he was the Montana Soldier on the front of Time Magazine. Tillie enlisted in the Navy in April of 2008 graduates High School in two months. She will be a Gunners Mate! Soon as I get the go ahead from Cody, I'll post some photo's of the kids on here. Two tours ago, the soldiers weren't supposed to have any pics. on the internet, or use their last names, not for sure if that policy is still in place, so have to get permission from Cody, who has been in since 1999. Sorry, not allowed to print where he is stationed. Safety for the kids!! My parents were both raised and graduated from Sweet Grass County High School. Small world! Hang in there Army/Navy Mom...lol...Hooah and Aye Aye
Hi Shelly,
I heard from Alisha today, she must be doing good if she already got a phone call, she sounded tired and said that it was hard, but was really excited about making the 900 division. She is a tough Montana girl. I spoke with her recruiter today and he warned me that he was talking to my son. If he goes I'll only have one left at home. But I don't think its a bad idea.
Hi Shelly
sorry it has taken me awhile to write back to you. Aaron has been out at sea for over 90 days. He is actually now on his way back to bahrain so we will see how long he gets to be there before they ship him out again. I know on his facebook he had a comment where he said he couldn't wait to see trees and grass again. lol I hope your kids are doing well. I can't even imagine having two kids serving but that is so awesome. my thoughts and prayers are with them.
I will pray that your son remains safe in Iraq.
Cody will have A school in Meridian MS and Jesse will has A school in San Diego than I really don't know where they are going.
Hi Shelly

Hi - hope all goes well with your daughtere in GL!!! Keep us posted!!
Congrats on your son and the army - wow - what a roller coaster you are on!!!
Thanks for asking - Derek leaves on his 20th birthday - August 1
Just read that your daughter was going to be a MA. My son has completed "A" school for MA!! He went to Virginia Beach instead of San Antonio. I live in Texas, about 5 hours from San Antonion. If you have any questions, just ask.
Derek is in training right now in Gulfport, Mississippi headed to an oil rig in the Persian Gulf (Kuwait) sometime this summer.
A busy July 08 for you. A milestone you will never forget. Does your son know where is going to be stationed? When I was in the Army I was at Ft. Eustis, VA. I was 57H and my hubby 63S. Army lingo for Cargo Specialist and Heavy Equipment Mechanic. I bet you will be keeping the post office busy. I love www.usps.com I can click and ship, have packages picked up at my door, store an address book(except you can't have 5 lines like the Navy boot camp uses) and I bought a scale so I could weigh pkgs and envelopes. Otherwise I would have had to drive to the post office way too much. This way I can figure postage and mail everything from home. And I send alot of stuff!!! I hope you have fun "talking" to your kids through the mail. And some people didn't want to mail stuff but wanted to say "hi" to T so I asked them to email me and I printed it out and mailed it with my stuff. :) :)
