Good morning Kate! I was thinking of you today and wondering how things are going with you all. The homeschooling is maybe slowing down for this year? Having a whole family involved doing that has got to be time consuming. I only had one to homeschool. Hope all is well with you and your family. Come on over to Warm Hearted Friends and fill us all in. We have been missing you there.
Kate,
email me at innkeeper@woodrowhouse.com. I have found more moms from Lubbock! We need to get together. My computer crashed and I lost all my email addresses, so I don't have yours anymore.
Kate, Have been thinking of you for some reason today. Pray that all is going OK with you and your family. We all have been missing you here on N4M. Just wanted you to know.
Just stopping by to see how you and the family are doing. Hope all is well. Greg is out of GL and now at NC - Camp Lejune. He is calling for his vehicle every day. I guess I need to find a way to get it to him. Keep in touch.
Kate,
There are a number of prayer groups on this site, depending on your personal tastes. Christian Chat, Prayer Wall and Navy praying Moms are just three that I know of. I will pray for your family. Where is Leon stationed at? My sailor is in Pensacola, Florida waiting to class up as an aviation mechanic. Is Leon enjoying his service in the Navy so far? Ethan has good days and bad days...it's a maturing experience. He has dog duty this weekend, so he will be tired and I probably won't hear from him until next week...
How are you doing? How is Leon? Are you surviving the winter. Greg graduated from A school this morning. He is on hold in Chicago until he gets the OK to move. He is headed to NC.
Well, hope all is well. Let me know how you're doing.
Ginger
How was your Christmas? Did Leon get to come home? Greg made it and went back yesterday morning. He is bumbed right now, but I am sure he will be better once things get back into a routine.
Still waiting word from the north. Let me know how things go for you. Lots of prayers are going up from Poth, as I am sure they are everywhere. I'll be thinking of all the kids - who will probably get stuck in the airport!!
Hi Kate,
Spoke with Greg this evening. He is pretty bumbed right now. Apparently there is a bad storm brewing and some of the sailors may not get to leave the base before the storm hits. He is concerned about not getting to come home as planned - specifically that he will end up in the airport in Chicago using leave time and not spending it with family. Have you heard anything from Leon regarding this? I guess all we can do is take one day at a time and say lots of prayers.
How exciting to get to see the boys at Christmas!! I to am so excited. Greg is supposed to get into SA at 3:30 - I hope the plane isn't too late!!LOL I am still trying to figure out what to meet him at the airport with - signs, flowers??? I just don't want to embarass him. I noticed what time you sent your comment. Is this N4m site addicting or what!!!
Thanks for the information. Where is your son at A School? Mine will be coming home - he is actually coming home on Friday. I am so ready to see him. His friends are ready to see him also. I don't think the guys at BC will be able to make it home for Christmas.
Have a Merry Christmas with Leon at home. When does he graduate from A School?
I haven't either, but I think support and encouragement is the most important thing . . . I remember my dad quitting when we were little because he didn't want to set a bad example for us kids - and my husband quit after our kids were born:)!
I was just thinking in terms of "Ship Shape Up" can mean working to get healthier, not just thinner . . . what do you think?
