I do not believe that i have anything scheduled for that day... but my dad just had some surgery (up in NC) and kind of tracking that .... so never really sure of anything lately. so how have things been with you? I haven't made our reservations yet, so if I can we will go the 31st instead and then if that's the case we will be there. I will see if I can get some others to come. my brother in law is pres of vfw auxillary in hudson. I'll see if he can get some others to go also. when do we need to let you know?
hi donna, We will be out of town that weekend. Is that the vfw on county line road? If so look at the first picture on my page. That sign is the VFW's on county line road. My father in law was a member. I think maybe an officer there at one time. Do you know someone who belongs and if so maybe they knew him. We are trying to do something for the Nimitz sailors for xmas since their deployment has been extended. Any suggestions or help would be appreciated. I think we are able to make that. Have a concert to work on 16th do not remember having anything on 17th will check with other half to be sure but if we do not have anything on calender we just might be able to have a few more join us (vets).
Hey my name is Lo and you prbably don't remember me but I talked to you alot when my Sailor was in bootcamp and I believe our Sailors were in the same graduating division. We may have met in the mall up in Chicago, but I am not sure if it was you. It was a long time ago, but all of your comments on here and everything really helped me through the bootcamp experience and I just wanted to say thank you and give you an update. My sailor [Christopher Fred] has been in Pensacola, FL for A School since graduating in March and it has been a very long few months and not an easy road at all. I am now getting to the point to where I am having such a hard time with being apart from him. He will hopefully be coming for a week next week if his leave chit gets approved this week. I just wanted to say thank you for everything! You were a great friend to me when I needed one!
What's the news on your son? How are things going? Hope you all are well. My son will be home for a short visit (Oct.) before he deploys to Iraq. Til May 2010. Trying to cope with that. Praying everything goes well and everyone returns safe.

in orlando, August 22nd at the Central Florida Vietnam Veterans, also know as the bunker....we have tons planned and a few surprises. We would be honored to have you and your son present. Check out the event calander -just click on 22nd and it will be in there! OMG this would be AWESOME, just to have a seasoned sailor present, see you are getting me all excited. Central florida has a group that have HUGE ♥
