The lady below me that is asking about sharing a room ~~ if it is for PIR remember very important to tell themn this is for the navy pir because the rates drop dramatically !! I was quoted 183.00 then it became 87.00 once they knew it was for PIR

Cammy, you are such a sweet boot camp mom. I know Nick will still be there (he's almost done!) but they are doing duty alittle different now. If they have duty on Fridays, they work duty for the full weekend. Fri, Sat. Sunday. I know Nick did not have it last weekend or this weekend ahead so let me ask him if he is on duty that weekend or not. I will also send you a pm with his name and phone # so Dale will have someone to reach out to with any questions, etc. I HOPE to talk with our son tonight and let me check with him about that PIR weekend to see if he has duty - otherwise, he never minds helping someone out.
Hi Cammy, wanted to stop by and welcome you to the AE/CF group. It looks like Dale is still in boot camp. Does he know yet if he will be an FC or an ET. Our son has been in A school since April and will be an FC...just like his daddy was. We have alot of great moms and support in our group, please let us know what questions that you may have.

I really sorry to hear you had a bad day, I had a bad day yesterday when Skylar was telling me about high rate of casualties the corpsmen are having latley. Skylar is 19 also. I know it will be hard not being there for him and wow poor boy, birthday in BC how awful. Its good you can go to his graduation. It really means alot to them. I was so glad I went, but boy I didn't want to take my son back to the base. Im going to ask Molly if we can reschedual for later in the day, like afternoon sometime. My boss is making me come in on Saturday for 4 hours.
yeah that sounds fun, getting together, oh and by the way, Skylar only wrote to me three times while he was in bootcamp, he said he was just a little busy. I missed him so much, everytime I got a letter I would cry.

I was wanting to do a letter writing get together with close moms-so anything you can set up would be great :) I have met about 3 moms from this area so far-and I know they would be in to a get together !

Ooops, deleted to much, my son is right now in A school, he graduated last month, I went and saw him, it was nice, but I cried when I had to say goodbye agian. Not sure how long he will be in A school at GL , he will be a corpsman.

Just got done watching the Seahawks lose another. how depressing. I went to South Whidbey High, what a small world. I also have family in the Everett area. I'm glad you got your phone call and he is doing well .
We have yet to receive a call. thats neat the little ones sent him pictures I'm sure he will love it. We have not made plans to go out to GL yet. we are still waiting for the graduation packet to arrive, even though the web site has his Div 009 graduating on 11/21.

Sure, we can split the cost! That would help me out. Hey...we can snore in unison or at least in harmony! Ha! I am nervous about the car. If you flew in on the 19th around 2:15pm to O'hare. We could drive to the motel together. It is about 40min. away. The shuttle cost about $47 (cheapest) one way only! Go figure. )-:
Then I have to return on Sunday November 23 at about 2:30 to catch the flight out to Seattle. If you could work out that schedule we could save money for transportation on the shuttle and I could get the car. I am not sure of the cost of the car/per day/gas/per mile I believe. If the timing could work, this would be great! Let me know asap it would help if we could get the same flight times from and out of O'hare airport. Be sure when you make your tickets 11/19 through November 23 ( by 2:30pm coming in to O'hare and leaving 11/23 my flight I believe is around 3:30pm out. I will need to be there before 2:30pm on the 11/23. Hope this can work. Linda
Hi Cammy, We are just north of Seattle, when did dale go in? Casey went in on 09/29? What DIV is he in? Casey is in DIV 009 Ship 005 Uss T. Roosevelt.
It has been a roller coaster of emotions since he left. We did however get our first letter and he is doing great. How about your son?
