Hey Carlotta, it's been too long girl! Enjoying your summer off teach? Can't believe we've been at this for over a year now! How is J doing on deployment? How are YOU doing? How many more months does he have to go? Drop me a PM when you get some time. I'll be keeping you both in my prayers. Hang in there Mama! God Bless.
Hi Carlotta!! Thanks for contacting me. Wow! I'm in Kinston and have a sister that lives in Snow Hill so I am out that way alot!! We should seriously get together!!! My daughter is going AO as well. She graduates basic on 7-24-09 and will then head to Pensacola for A school. You could really be helpful in what I can expect since your son is AO as well. Im wondering did he have A school in Pensacola too? I have met a mom that lives in Winterville too, the three of us should really make arrangements to meet. A very handsome sailor you have!!! These are special heros!! God Bless and look forward to talking more with you. Oh, by the way, how do you get the music on your page, that's great!!!!!!!Sherri
Hey Carlotta,
Where is your son deployed to? I will keep him in my prayers for a safe and speedy return. Anytime, you can visit me- I own/work at the GOLD TEETH store across from Walmart and beside of Subway in Greenville. We make grillz or frontz- the ones that this young generation likes to wear and permanent gold teeth, too. I am hoping that Chon will get stationed in Norfolk, too but not sure about that until he finishes his "A" school after BC. When you come to Greenville, stop by and say "hello", I'd love to meet and talk w/ you. Tammy
Hey Carlotta,
Thanks for contacting me. I've only met 2 Navy moms (1 being my childhood friend from Plymouth-. that's where I grew up) and another mom down in Kinston. Has your son been in USN for a long time. I see from his pic. that he's finished BC. Chon will PIR next Friday. I'm so excited!! I go thru Maury quite often to Goldsboro to go to the Korean grocery and church. I'm am so proud of our young men, for joining the military. I hate to see young people just goofing off their lives or making trouble. The military is a great way to go knowing how th economy is now, especially in eastern NC. Even those with an education are having a hard time to make ends meet. Sorry for being such a windbag. I love to talk. Please write back and maybe sometimes wecan have a meet up with other Navy moms. God Bless, Tammy
Hi Carlotta, thanks for checking on me. Yeah I got the music. After a person starts fidgeting with the computer you eventually find it. I have been so busy with school and studying that my mind hasn't been on anything else, sorry. But I go into my 2nd semester June 16. My son is so handsome right? He is in Florida but he will be stationed in Japan for 3 years. He's not too happy about it but he is a smart and motivated young man and I trust God so I know he will be fine. I wish you all the best for you and your son as well as the rest of your family. God bless you and maybe one day us mothers could somewhat go out for tea or something if you ever come to New York, LOL.
Hello Carlotta. So glad to become your Navymom friend. My Andrea is on her way to Norfolk Virginia. I am so happy. She will be closer to us. She will graduate from A school in March. She will be a Quarter Master. We like you, are so proud. But I do worry. Her ship is a destroyer. She could end up in Bihran. That is close to Egypt. She will not be leaving until sometime in June I pray. She is very excited. She has always wanted to travel to different places. Let me know how your Jason's is coming along.
Hi Carlotta - as you can see by how long it took me to respond- I'm awful about checking my messages. I need to get better at that. I spend so much time at my job responding to emails, that when I get home, I kind of shy away from email all together. I do miss chatting with all of you though. It feels like eons ago when we all connected here, and it's not even been a year.... can you believe that? Please let Jason know that Alex is stationed in Goose Creek SC. He is amidst a six month stint in Power School in the Nuclear program. Once he graduates from that, he will do another six months of Trajectory training but we're not sure where that will be at this point. After that, he will be out on a sub (eek). He's doing well although he said it is extremely hard. So glad Jason is doing well. I will be sure to let Alex know where Jason is and that he was asking about him. How great that he is so close to home - must make you feel a bit better. It was great to hear from you - I promise not to let so much time go buy before I respond again. Take good care...
Hi Carlotta -- great to hear from you. So sorry I haven't written here much lately. The holidays kept me sooo buys. Alex is doing just fine. He's still in South Carolina. He started Power School a few weeks ago after finishing A School there. He came home for two weeks for Christmas. I was so thrilled to have him home. My daughter was home from school and it was just fabulous having my children home with me. How is Jason doing?
Thank you.....

It's been awhile my Sistah how are things going with you this is the first opportunity for me to touch base with my Sistahs. Kevin was home for the holidays for 2 weeks and we had a wounderful time. He got out of GL just before the big snow storm and Sis it was a task but God is good all the time and He worked it out. He left on 1/4 returning to GL to continue his A school studies and hopes to be finish by March or April. Prayfully his first Duty Station will be in VA ! :0) He has grown up so much and I'm so thankful for the opportunity to watch him grow into manhood with a direction and purpose in life. My computer has been acting a lil crazy so today I'm going to do some needed cleaning all of the family was at my house for the holidays and stayed on the computer my space, facebook, games etc.. so it's no telling! So, Sis when you get a chance drop me line as always to you my Sistah Much Luv and Peace until next time...
