Hi, Sherry, how is your sailor doing? How was the get together? I missed out on the MD moms thing, but I had a schedule conflict anyway. Hope you are well!
Happy day after Thanksgiving Sherry.....How wonderful to have your son so close!! The Maryland group is planning another get-together at the Rams Head on December 13 at 11:00. I know there are a few more moms coming that were not able to get there the last time so hopefully it can work for you. You are in Ridgely, right? If you would like to meet at 404 and ride together, that could work. Let me know.
Sorry Sherry. We've been so busy, I've just not had time to check the site. We are going to Wings and Wheels on the 18th at Dover Air Base. It's open to anyone but it's run by the Delrods. You park your cars under and around the musuem's airplanes. You get to tour the airplanes and the cars for free. I don't know if they have a fee to enter your car yet. But it couldn't be too much. Anyway the tours are free. We took the Camaro to Harrington last weekend. My son was able to make it home with his family from VA. So he got to see what we do at the shows with his car. He seemed pleased. I'm taking care of my daughter's baby when I'm not working so, it's been really hectic. I will check the site again I just don't know when. If you decide to come to Dover on the 18th, we have a white '67 Camaro with a Blue bumblebee, black vinyl top and black interior. I don't think you can miss us so look us up. Hope to see ya there.
Hello Sherry. We are doing great. Kyle is finally heading to San Diego for 6 months and we are going to go see him this weekend. a belated Mother's Day celebration. I hope you had a good mother's day too.
I got to go for a ride on Splash and ponied my Gus. He was very good. I can't wait to ride him again. He's still very green and so am I. Maybe tomorrow. It's the rainy season here and man have we had the rain. Almost everyday since Easter. Thank goodness for indoor arenas but I'm going broke paying for time.
Any way thanks for asking about Kyle. Take care of yourself and your animals.

hey,Sherry: sorry...I haven't been on-line much lately. This stuff is addicting and I was spending too much time on it. Greentree did have a cruise last week....but...my sailor was home with his family and my daughter was here with hers and my mom came in from NY so....obviously family took priority. Ben looked great. Very in-charge kind of guy now. Had a great weekend but I had (and still have) laryngitis. So, I listened alot. This weekend we're heading for my grandson's birthday party so between work and that occasion, I'll be busy again. I'll let ya know when we decide to go to Greentree. Also, check out the Dover Air Museum site. They have a cruise that parks right under the aircraft at the museum. So you get to tour the planes AND look at the cars. We plan on taking the car there too. It was alot of fun last year. I think it's in June or July. Hope all is well with you and yours. How's your sailor doing? k
Hi Sherry,
glad you had some time to get on here.Working overtime drains a person.Hope fully soon that will change and your company can start hiring again. No I haven't heard from T since march 5th.I'm praying and hopeing he will call very soon
thanks for the Valentine's wish. Hope yours was wonderful. Mine was quiet. No word from my kids other than babysitting for my granddaughter so my daughter and son could go out the night before. No word from Ben or his wife. Hubby was out of town on business. So, I opened the wine, made some popcorn, put on a good movie and relaxed. Hope you are enjoying Kenny being home. Thanks for the prayers for Ben. I worry all the time when he's overseas. Even if he's not technically in harms way. Talk to ya again soon. k
Same to ya! I am treating my husband today cuz he cooks for me most the time, but now that he drives 4 hrs a day to work, I am trying to have dinner ready when he gets home. Please post those old pictures on the Navy History page - will you ??? And explain who they are! I love them- they are FANTASTIC!!!!!
Hey Sherry: Just saw your message. Haven't been checking lately. Really busy with new job, new granddaughter and remodeling house. I'll definitely let you know when we'll be at Greentree. Glad to hear your son will be close too. Ben is stationed at Portsmouth VA but he's overseas on 60+ day TDY. He'll be back in April. Sounds like a good homecoming in store for you. Good luck and take care.
Hi sherry,
I'm so happy for you that your sailor is coming home and will be stationed close to home.I'm hopeing T will be stationed in Dallas after he comes home from the sand box.
You have some beautiful horses and I know how much work is involved and how much fun they are. When you get your carriage please post a pic.Have a great weekend
OH how I love the older photos! Your horses look wonderful. Kyle got orders today. He got Tomohawk and we are just thrilled. I just got home from riding at the arena. It was a rough trailer ride with winds near 50. But we got some work in and got home safe and thats all that counts. Well got to run, looks like I'm heading to GL for graduation from school. Kyle will head to C school and finish up in 3 months. Then I guess it's off to sea. I'm not looking forward to that but it's part of the life. Have a great week and hope we all hear good words from our loved ones.
I haven't been on here in a few days, just been busy.Glad to hear your sailor made it back ok.I'm glad that the navy kept you posted.
have a great weekend.
Hi Sherry Thank you for my friend request. What handsome sons you have.T is in afghanistan and I have been trying to get him to e-mail me some pictures but so far no luck.Love the horse.
hi, Sherry: Since my son is married, they probably check with his wife. I don't mind that at all. I hate to think of her and the baby by herself but it's a Navy wife's life. She's not to communicative with us or her Dad who lives about 4 miles from us. Her Mom is in Maine and I'm sure she talks to her alot. Can't wait for my son to come back from Dubai. Makes me feel better about their family life. Hope all is well with you. Talk to ya soon.
hi, Sherry: Couldn't sleep so I'm on the computer. Great news about your son, I hope. How is it that the base is calling you??? I can't get a nickels worth of info from Ben and wouldn't know how to get it from the base. Let me know your secret. I'll let ya know when we plan to go to route 8. We don't go but a couple of shows because, as I said, it's really Ben's car and we just stretch it's legs now and again. However, will do on keeping you posted. Let me know when you're going to Blue Hen and we'll see if we can make that one. Also, they have a great show at the Air Base Museum. I think it's in June or July. Watch for that one. Even if you just walk around it's great. They have the cars parked under the wings and around the planes so you can tour both. We really enjoyed it last year. Keep us posted on the homecoming. Talk to ya soon.
