Great pics Jane - thanks for the note. Zack was at ASU and went to Pinnacle. So at least I had a mini trial separation. I am at Tatum/Dynamite so we are close. I hope we will connect soon! Thanks for the support
Thanks for the info. I don't know how she's going to do with studying. Frankly, she's never had to apply herself to earn a grade, except for the "hiccup" in her education that occurred after her sister died. She called this weekend, from the beach (mean girl!) and said she starts school today. That is good. Good luck with you and your son. We wish you the best!
Our son is Quincy. They may know each other from A school. Does your Devin like GC ? We are in VA so they weather is not too much different for our son. Navy life was definately the right choice for him. Very hard work in this program, but he has never been more challenged and comfortable.

My son Lafe is also a NUKE. He graduates A School on June 19th and will be headed home with his girlfriend for 15 days. Is your son an EM or MM? Lafe is an EM. He will not start Power School until sometime in August. I live in Peoria and my son went to Sunrise Mountain HS. He did tell me he met someone who swam on the Cactus HS swim team. Could that posibly be your son? I have not had an opportunity to meet up with any of the AZ moms yet. I am off for the summer and would love to meet up with some of the other moms.

I didn't go to the A School graduation, either. Vincent said not many parents come to that. I did meet a mom on this website who went because she lives in Tennessee (not far). In fact, her son graduated from A School the same day Vincent did, so she sent me her extra program from the graduation. Vincent said the Navy makes a big deal about the Power School graduation. He thinks the 20th date is it. I'm sure we will find out. I drove out there last July to take his car. It's tucked away and not very visible from the road. I think it's good the way they have it. We have something for everyone here groups from boot camp moms to overseas moms and moms that like to scrap book. We have meet and greets to events that the moms set up to meet each other and have dinner or an outing. There are groups to help you with each and every step of this wonderful adventure that our children have chosen called the US Navy.
Please tell us about your sailor and what they have chosen to do in the navy and ohh yeah we LOVE pictures of everyone !!

My daughter, Ashley (20), has been in the Navy since July 2007 and is an IT3 & my son Tim (19) has been in since Feb 2008 stationed on the USS Nimitz.. What is your son/daughter doing with the Navy?
