Stephanie didn't like the haircut thing either especially because she had it cut before she left and then they cut it shorter. Then on top of that she had to wear the ugly birth control glasses. She was so excited to wear her contacts and put on some makeup for pictures two weeks ago. Her PIR is next Friday. What will Shannon be going to A school for?
I received 5 letters in one envelope. Shannon is doing great. THEY CUT HER HAIR AL THE WAY TO HER EARS!!!!! HER recruited said that they wouldn't cut it..... thats a bummer
Hi Tammy, Has Shannon left for boot camp yet? My daughter has been in since August 25th and is really enjoying her experience. I'm sure Shannon will come thru with flying colors!
Dear Tammy from WA:

Dear Tammy,
How are you doing?
I know it's hard letting go, I'm having the same problem, now that all my children age of age now.
Shannon will be fine and in good hands with the Navy. Once she gets used to the rountine of it, she'll like Boot Camp, they all do, beleive it or not. My daughter Kim loved Boot Camp!!
Best thing for you, is to keep busy. Please stay in contact with other Navy moms, and I'm always around!! HAHA!!
Also , I do suggest the groups, there is a "Boot Camp moms" group, that's a good starter.
I hope to hear from you again.
Take care and God bless.
Barbara
