Patricia,
Can you IM me the information about Homecoming at the Pier? My husband is doing the TC but my son's girlfriend and I are flying to Norfolk for the homecoming. I am a bit worried about coming in the late the night before and not having a lot of directions or information.
I think we need to attend the night before to get passes for the base, but I've never did this before either, Rhonda would be the one to ask, but I'm sure they will get all that info out soon.
Hi, just stay safe there! Just had the news on and as you know it hasn't been very pretty in parts of the world! I will be lifting y'all up in my prayers:)
Hugs to you,
Rhonda
Hi Patricia:) How old is your son's brother? I am not sure on how many can go and such but I would ask the ombudsman that question.
Hope all is well for you and let me know if you need anything okay?
Hugs,
Rhonda
Hey there Patricia, how are you today? How was your Easter? There is not much going on today...trying to get t-shirts idea's together for us mom's and chris (AND DAD"S) to order for homecoming..think that's about it for right now...I will keep you posted if something important comes along. No word from Douglas was hoping for a call, oh one day ..right?? Just hope when he does call I don't miss it..LOL just my luck. Have a great day and I'll ck back with you soon. Let me know if you need anything. :)
Welcome Patricia:)
The Tiger Cruise is when we get to meet the ship probably in Mayport when the ship is coming home.
Only the same sex can go on the IKE, so for instance I have a son and won't be able to attend my my DH can, unless I know of a gal that doesn't have a family member coming in.
Hope that helps!
Dear Patricia,
How are you doing? This Navy for moms is such a blessing.
Would you believe this website just turned one year old, this month!
We get new moms everyday, it's wonderful!! We keep each other's sanity going!! HAHA!!
How does Jason like the Navy so far?
My daughter Kim loves it, but she's getting bored being docked. Her ship is the USS Normandy in Virginia. She only graduated last June, now she's ready to go somewhere, poor thing!! HAHA!!
I was jsut reading your profile, I'm another animal lover, there's also my kids!! HAHA! I just became a grandma, he's a puggles!! HAHA!! My older daughter bought him, but know he's mine now. He's the mix of beagel and pug.
My daughter is never home, she works then goes to school. I'm the sole caretaker of all the animals. So the puppy is mine now!! HAHA! He's so bad...puppy bad, but so cute!! HAHA!! I have an older dog, poor thing, just what is needed, a hyper puppy chewing on his hind legs! UGH
I hope to hear from you again.
Take care and God bless,
Barbara

There are groups to help you with each and every step of this wonderful adventure that our children have chosen called the US Navy.
Please tell us about your sailor and what they have chosen to do in the navy and ohh yeah we LOVE pictures of everyone !!
Please let me know if you have any questions I can help you with.
It was hard for me to consider my child joining any military at all. He was consistenly dogged in high school by all branches of military and he told them all no. Three years passed and he finally made the dicision to join the Navy. I am now a proud Navy mom and hope to help any young adult to chose the Navy way. I feel it is the BEST branch to enlist in.
