Hi there long time I have been getting letters from Shane and he is doing good. I just cant wait for Jan 9th I hope thats the date I havent gotten anything from the Navy saying that, he seems to think that is the day. His letters are so good and he is home sick but I write everyday and send pictures so he says that really helps. Just wanted to say hi and I have not heard his voice but 1 time since he called I was hopeing I would here from him soon ha, talk to you later Debbie
Hi I got the call last night Shane sounds great, he said he thought his coach was bad ha Shane played ball growing up and got a bad coach one year and hated it ha, anyway he has wrote letters and I told him I have not gotten one yet! So that should make this a little easy I hate not seeing him, I think the call made it sad again, and one 1-9 is the date I can see him yes.

Yes, just hang in there! Be sure and let us know when you hear from him.
No, my son didn't go to Sun Valley. We live in Meck County. He went to Berry Academy of Technology-it's a magnet school off of freedom Drive. He graduated in 2005. He just turned 21 in July, so they are both pretty young, but wanted to marry since he'll be out there for 4 years. they had been apart long enough between "A" school and Nuke school. They may be young but they seem a lot more mature than a lot of kids. I think the military really matures them. his wife isn't in the Navy, but is going to school out there. It is a beautiful state. I'm guessing we'll go out there again before their time is up there! WEll, hang in there and let us know when you get the letter!
No, All I got was paper work and all his stuff so my laundry basket is full again ha I will even miss that!! I was sad no note let me know if you get one ?
Hi got his clothes today and his navy book and papers and the stamps I sent with him I guess they want him to buy his own ha, I will send them back in a letter ha so I will get a letter ha. oh well counting the days 7 so for right.anyway just checking in.
Jean-Sue here . I live in Matthews. My son has been in since August 2005 and the few weeks they are gone is the worst, but you'll be O.K. It's the not knowing and not hearing from them that's tough, but you will hear from him and the area recruiters are great. I called them too, so don't feel like you're the only one who has! When you get that letter, you'll be so excited, you won't be able to stand it. The first 2 weeks of boot camp are crazy for them, he'll explain it all in his first letter. Hope you get one soon! Just know we've all been there! My son and his wife are in WA now so that was an adjustment! Just hang in there!
Hi there, I called the recuiter today and he said if I dont have his address by Fri. call back, he was real nice, and ask how I was doing ? I thought that was nice. I hate the wait. I got him a Thanksgiving card today and the christmas one will be hard ha. Maybe in couple of weeks we will hear something I will let you know as soon as I do okay
