Hi Angela, My son needs prayer and so do I, He is so terribly down he wants to get thru boot camp so badly. Pray for strenghth, wisdom, determination,and courage, unfortunatlely some family member told him he was going to fail . This opportinity to serve would be so good for him. I am praying all of the time I have faith but my stomach is doing flip flops constantly. I know some of his division was able to call home, 1/3 passed and 2/3 did not. the ones that past were able to call home, we did not recieve one. That is okay , however knowing that you are a pray warrior helps, thanks

I miss you when I don't hear from you in awhile. I'm so happy for you that things are smoothing out for you. At least, you know the Lord, you're a step ahead of many other people I write to. We all get in to those slumps every now and then. We all need to have some one to talk to or write to.
You want to hear something. I'm so excited over this. Kim called , her and her ship mates are taking Bible studies. I was so thrilled to hear this!! See, how the Lord works!!
God still has his hands full with my son though!! HAHA! I lift up my David to God every single day.
I'm even taking up Bible studies on the computer. I'm on another website now, also, called the Cochlear Communtiy. The members are all deaf and have had the Cochlear Implant surgery. That's what I'm praying I will have too.
Anyway, one member I write to, so happens is a Pastor, and he asked me if I would be interested in the Bible studies. So just about every night, I'm doing it, looking up scriptures and answering the questiions. It's such a blessing.
That's wonderful news about Sam coming home in August. I'm so happy for you!
My older daughter is leaving for Virginia on Friday. Please keep her in prayer. She's going for the week. Her car keeps falling apart. Between last week and this week, she has a new engine, and it still died on her yesterday.
Kim works 12 hour shifts, so they won't see much on one another.
I was so hoping Darlene's girlfriend was going to be with her. But the girl canceled on Darlene.

Just wanted to say a huge and happy CONGRATS to your Sam for making PO3!!! :D (I have the same praise, God has been so good to our Sailors!) I know the road hasn't always been easy for the two of you.
So glad to see you are still trusting in Him and letting him direct your paths. I pray He will continue to protect and guide Sam and uplift you. Kim is doing good. Now they're painting the hallways in the ship, but there's no ventalization. SO the Sailors are getting sick. For whatever the reason, they're not allowed to wear masks while painting.
Tomorrow I have an appointment to try on hearing aides. I'm hoping I have success for my left ear . My right ear died a few months ago. I'm thankful for it. Now the audiologist has something to work with. The past two years it's been a flip of the coin on which ear was deaf and which one was hard of hearing. It went back and forth all the time.
Let me get going. I have to get up early.

One man I write to, he's a Pastor. SO all we write about is God's love and Jesus's precious blood, ( that washes out sins...Quote, Unquote!! HAHA!) I had to add that in, just for you!! HAHA! You know I love you, and so does our Heavenly Father!

I share your sadness, I want you to be yourself again. You know the Lord, you know how he works and how the devil lies. The devil walks around searching for people he can devour, you know that. He gets you at your weakest point.
Things happen in life, every day has a new problem. If our lives were perfect and trouble free, would we need God, no.
You know God puts things in front of us, so we rememeber to pray to him for help and to bring us closer to him. He works harder on those he loves.

We all go through a period like this, at one time or another. We serve a faithful God, and he will, as usual pull you out of this wilderness your'e going through.
Every step of the way, Jesus is right beside you, so you won't stumble and fall. He will guide you through what ever your going through in your life right now.
You just having a test of faith, and it will pass over. Just keep your eyes on God and not look to the right or left, of whatever is happening in your life.

Are you serious, Sam made Petty Officer!! WOW!! Congratulations!!! I know you're so proud , and you have a right to be.!! That's is some exciting news!!! I'm so happy for you and him!!!
Kim was here last weekend. She finaly made the drive in 7 hours. I hope and pray she memorized her she drove back!! HAHA! The last few times, it took her over 11 hours to get back.
I used to work for a Military college, years ago. I hated that long summer off. I did collect unemployment, but it's boring staying home.
It was so funny though, watching my co-workers and myself, get back into the job. I worked in the kitchen (gally) We all knew our jobs, but the first two weeks back, it was like we all had two left hands!! HAHA!!!
My husband brought me to another ENT doctor, which is easier for me to get to. I can only go to an ENT doctor that specializes in Meniere's Disease, that I have. Not many specialize in it.
I had two vertigo tests today. Wasn't as drastic as I feared.
The doctor also wants be to be tested to see if I qualifiy for a cochlear implant, it's an impanted hearing aide. I wrote to the woman who makes the appointment for that. She has the implant herslef. SO I am hoping I do qualify for it. That test is next week.
