HI Kimmy, just saw your post over at RMD. Sorry to hear about your loss, you and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. Will Brandon be able to leave the ship and go home for the funeral? We just got word this morning that my husband's older sister just passed away this morning. She had been ill for quite a few years so it was just a matter of time. My hubby's bro-in-law will have her cremated and have small memorial service for her over their way which is Florida. Their boys live in the Indiana area and my husband is now the only one left from his immediate family. I just emailed KC and told him about his Aunt Judy. I'm here too if you need me.

I'll be seeing KC down in SD and he'll take his leave from there. I finally sent KC's birthday pkg off along with a jumbo card this past Friday. Hoping it arrives much sooner than two months. When was Brandon's Birthday? I hope it was good. Do you hear from him much? How are YOU doing with the deployment? I hear from Jason quite a bit, but still freak slightly when I don't. How much snow there? None here-Ha Ha. Talk to you soon.
HI, I'm sure as you mentioned over at RMD that Brandon is most likely kept pretty busy with the new sailor jobs. You will hear from him soon enough. I was getting frustrated and upset when I wasn't hearing from KC while everybody else was hearing from their loved ones after the deployment had started. KC isn't much of a writer in the first place but he started emailing more around christmas. It was just before then that he had written a long letter because he was feeling depressed and homesick but his dad had emailed him back tyring to encourage and cheer him up a bit. That seemed to help carry him along a little further. I have received recent emails from KC almost every other day or couple of days apart. Brandon will be in touch with you but you know to contact Rebecca if you would like to know what the situation is on the ship. Take care!
HI, Sorry, I forgot what your son does on the ship? And Happy Birthday to your son Brandon! Yes, whether late or early he will enjoy his packages. KC's birthday is near the end of this month and I don't have his pkg ready to go yet but would like to before the end of this week. I also have one of those huge birthday cards I had mostly everybody sign that needs to go off also. He seems to be doing well as far as I can tell by his emails. Once the ship arrives in SD we will be there to greet KC and he will be taking his leave time from there. Take care, Karen.

I can't hardly wait til the ship pulls in...will be there holding up my Banner...well, maybe the banner will be hung up already in front of the house. Are you attending homecoming? I'll be in SD when the ship first pulls in but not up north.
Go ahead and send it!! I would like just a little. Vnce doesn't remember ever playing in the snow. Can you imagine? I hope they learn to budget soon, alothough if Jason is anything like his dad in that regard he won't. He'll just spend like crazy when he's got it and do without when he doesn't. I'll keep my fingers crossed. LOL I IM'd with him today and he has been sick. He had to get shots and stuff. I guess this is his first time since he's been in, but I think he's ok.

I am just happy for him, that he is able to see the world. I know that my husband loves that part.
