LOL:)! It's been a long week . . . (today's my Friday!) - I have to take the TR6 in to emissions in the next couple of days, budget/banking, laundry, etc . . . plus walking - BUT I have a 3-day 'weekend' to do it as I'm not scheduled to work again until Saturday:)!

Kim, we went to the Midway today, and I'm thinking Seaworld tomorrow. Fourth of July is gonna be crazy. I do know we're going to some peoples house for dinner tomorrow night that were graduating with Patrick today. He PIR'd with him and now his wife is expecting. Isn't that exciting? So we have tickets for the zoo and the Balboa Park Air and Space museum. Don't know which days. Does any of that sound like something you'd like to go do? I know you said you'd like to go to Seaworld. Maybe if you want to go, we could wait to do it on Sunday, what do you think? ITS AN all day thing ...
Hi there! Nice to hear from you. How have you been? I haven't been on N4M's very much lately. Been really busy, and actually on facebook. Found a few of our moms there as well. But I do miss my navy mom friends. Son is coming home in 3 weeks for a visit!! So excited. It's been a year so can't wait to see him.

My husband and I visited Brandon at the end of May. He got to stay with us in New Orleans for 2 days. It was so nice to see him, we had fun catching up. I miss him very much.
Hi Kimberly, Thanks for the welcome! wow so where on the Hill do you live? I live alone as well I was living with my 87 year old mother but she has been in the hospital from being in a car accident for 2 months now, she had a stroke while driving up crenshaw and crashed into a tree and a fence just before PV dr. North. she is paralyzed in her arms and legs although she can feel when you touch them, she has a spinal injury in her neck. My son David will be coming home on leave for the 4th of July weekend he's due to fly in LAX this thursday! I'm so excited I haven't seen him since his boot camp graduation April 3rd. David is in the Navy Reserve he says he should be graduating from School in a couple of weeks then will get his orders to go to Camp Pendleton for 17 days then home! No, I will not be the one setting up the next get together. It will be Darsete and the event will take place in the Riverside area. I know she is in the process of checking out a few places. I haven't heard back from her yet.
I'll write back more soon and have a great weekend.
no actually it is July 2nd, Thursday. He will have to attend a short 3 wk special c school for upgrades and conversions to his systems, but since PIR was 4/18/08 (remember????) whats 3 more weeks? Not looking forward to July 4th crowds there, but definitely won't miss the USS Midway while I'm there to put on the Navy History Group page.
I've gotten over 60 PM's with suggestions of things to do in San Diego and have typed it up to take with me. Then I think Patrick could go to the military recreation place and get discounted tickets. I would love to go on a winery tour, but he's not into that. He wants to go to Sea world. So seaworld it is!
