I'm glad to hear that things are getting back to normal for your family. I am so sorry about the loss of your grandmother. I'm glad that Nick is in Norfolk now. It's a much better base. I was wondering why we hadn't heard from him; glad to hear he is out to sea. When does the ship come back in? Ryan still hasn't started classes. Everytime he gets a start date, it gets cancelled. He stays busy cleaning and having watch duty. He doesn't call all that often but he sends me a text three or four times a day. It's funny; the things he thinks to tell me. My family went sking this past weekend and it was nice that we got to all pass my cell around and talk to him. My great nephews were so excited. They just kept saying that I'm talking to Ryan from the Navy. Not sure where they think "the Navy is". I hope you and your family are doing well; I'll talk to you soon,

12 is no problem at all; I'm planning on just doing treat bags with maybe some candy, candy canes, stationary and some sort of card game enclosed. It doesn't sound like much but I'll make sure they're nice and look good. Should I send them to you for mailing or send the directly to the chief? Ryan is having a hard time with the running. He's passed everything else but this is going to be what holds him back. I'm so worried about how bad he sounds. It was nice that he got to call me today though. I'm trying to be positive. Thanks for keeping him in your prayers. We all need friends like you.

I just read your email from October. My son is on the WASP I am going to VA for the holiday will be there for a week. Hi Stephanie.....jsut came across your N4M page from your myspace page....well my daughter Megan is in Norfolk,VA...onboard USS STOUT DDG55, she also wanted to go into the aviation program, but due to her eyesight, she did not pass, she went in as a Boatswain's Mate..........
