THANK YOU so much Teresa! i can't wait myself! I will never forget of all the support you mothers gave me :) I hope all is well with you and your son and thanks so much to his service! xoxoxoxo
Thresa, that's pretty awesome that you got to see them deploy. Mike is on his first quick deployment.. about a week or so and I miss him dearly. I really like to be able to communicate with him. It seems you are handling it much better than I.
I am also dealing with my daughter that will graduate in June i.e. prom, etc. Busy times...
Read your message about your son deploying....sorry I couldn't respond earlier. Not having had to deal with it yet, I have no words of advice. My son is currently in San Diego waiting to see if they are going to fly him out to join his ship. I will not be there to see him leave (if/when it happens) but worse, I will not be able to be there to greet him when they return (if he does fly out to join his ship). He had requested Little Creek, Norfolk or Greece (He really wanted to be stationed back here..well, he got San Diego....
Hang tough. At least they are able to send email and call (unless they are in lockdown). From reading the posts by moms on my son's ship....start sending mail. Can take up to 3 weeks to get to them....it's like boot camp again....they live for the mail.
Good-luck and god bless.
Good news is-my son has joined two different soccer teams...so he is content.
We are all doing well. Mike called me and wished me Happy Mother's day and then we skyped. I got to see him on the computer and he looks well. He also made me a huge card and started singing Happy Mother's day. Then, he sisters joined in. He was very touching.
I'm really glad Ryan is so close. I told Mike what he said and he said to tell him hello. Mike will be going to Australia soon, so I'm looking forward to some picture.
Enjoy your time with Ryan, as well as Mother's day.
Hey Theresa, enjoy your time with Ryan. I had a great time with Mike and now that he is off I miss him so much. But, I know its all for the best. I have no idea what he will be doing now because his boat is deployed until May 15th at least.
Hi Theresa,
wow deployment already that was fast :(. Lee still is in A School til aug. we probably will find out in end of june or beg. of July where he gonna be stationed at. He's doing great tho he enjoys his time up there in Groton :). Give Ryan a big huggg from and tell him to stay out of trouble, lol.
Hi Theresa :))
aww thanks , but we are ok. It seemed to stop about 20 miles away from us so we good. I am still waiting on a reply from patti she is in midwest City they been on cnn this morning they got hit bad :( So I am worried.
HI Theresa,
Thanks for the message. PIR was absolutely incredible! I never would have imagined how moving it would be. The entire weekend was the best.
Zach flew out early Sunday for Pensacola. He seems happy down there, I think he is just glad BC is over!! He looked wonderful, thanks for your congratulatory message, I will tell him.
How is Ryan doing? Is he still in GL?
Lisa
I am about 4 hours west of Fargo, between Bismarck and Dickinson. All three places have flooded. I have 3.5 ft of water in my yard, but it is frozen solid. It hasn't entered the house. We will be ok.
Theresa, I'm so glad that Ryan is advancing in school.
Joseph took a yeoman job to have something to do, but he'd rather start his training. He'll never make it to the fleet this way.
Thanks for the comments on the puppies. Yes it's sometimes hard to let them go. but I've got a full house.
Joseph is STILL on hold, but is now getting his teeth worked on. He had two small cavities when he left home that the recruiter said not to fix, they'd fix then in bootcamp. Now they are larger and he also has two more. He said yesterday his dentist appt. was 1 1/2 long and he has three more to go. poor boy! I told him his brother needs a crown but has to pay for his own, at least Joseph's is paid for.
Hi sweetie.. Im finally getting back to reality and moving on.. I Was thinking about you and Ryan and hoping all is well with you both. How is he doing in A school? Nicks ship has finally moved over to Norfolk and is out to sea on a short trip right now. I havent been hearing from him much and of course when they are out I dont at all.
Just wanted to check in on you guys and send a big fat Hug!
Love me
Theresa, Thanks for your note. Zach still sounds pretty good. I am so relieved we are 1/2 way through!! Yes, we took your advice and booked Residence Inn-sounds great.
He mentioned in his letter this week the fact that time is now going faster and we are beyond the 1/2 way mark. I can't wait for PIR. Pray for no snow/ice.
Talk with you soon, Hope Ryan is doing well in GL.

I hope Ryan gets Japan too. Mike said he knows a few guys from his class that are going.
I am already thinking of a trip this summer. I've been to Singapore and loved it.
Keep in touch and let me know when you are here.
