Thanks Melissa! Looking at the pictures on this site, it looks as if you have a sailor on a carrier. Which one? My daughter was on a carrier prior to going to the Naval Postgaduate School in Monterey, CA. Judy

Thank you so much for your help. I appreciate your guidence. I have a sensitive question to ask. I don't want to post it out in the open and freak anyone out so I wanted so advice on this and a few other things. Can you email me so that I can ask. It isn't a personal question but It is something that my son emailed me about. It isn't security related or anything like that so no worries there either but it does have me worried and he is upset by it. Thanks so much! Amber, proudmom

YOu seem very knowledgable about the ins and outs of this site and Navy life. Do you know if there is a video showing what it is like on the McCampbell? Someone else said there were other videos of destroyer life but I couldn't find where they were talking about. Opps still a newbee I guess. Thanks

It was so nice to see you on Saturday! :) thanks for bringing the watermelon. You missed out on our Fijitas, rice and beans! YUMMY! Something a lil different! So we definatly need to start planing the November Zone Family Function! :) we want this one to be awesome! for the families and DEPpers. I am in Tucson, also. And, my son was a DEPPER waaaayyyy back in 1990. He is now a Chief Warrant Officer. Do you think the DEPPERS here in Tucson could use my input as a seasoned Navy Mom?
I am totally new to this forum, so am not quite sure how this all works, but I would love to get involved.

Hey Mel: Thanks for the info and getting the email to me. I lied about the price of my tickets for the 23rd....I went and checked and I paid $330 NOT $230!! In case you were wondering, it's the same price out of Phoenix as Tucson for the 48 hr. sale, $220 then taxes, etc!

Hey Miss Melissa. I'm here. Just been busy with work. BUT week from tomorrow I'll be in Norfolk to see my Boo AND to meet Ms. HTsWife! I am MORE than excited. Husband and son are in Iowa til Tuesday so I'm all alone on the 4th.....just me and the crazy dog....and my poor injured pool! HA! Has a freakin leak somewhere so it's turned into a 'tanning ledge' instead of a pool, but getting some rays....gonna be over 100 degrees again tomorrow.
