Hi Denise!!! it was so good hearing from you and to know that everything is going well!!!yes stacey did make it home for the 4th of july and we had a ball, now shes off to damneck to finish school, she'll be going to New York in Nov. for the christening of her ship the USS New York hopefully we all plan to go for the event, looking back at your pictures of the Navy Pier sure brings back memories. where did the time go!!! Hello my Sister. How is everything going. I am fine, as the family. I pray all is well with you and your family. I watched the Michael Jackson Memorial yesterday, so appropriate, yet so sad. I can't believe he is gone. I hope your sailor is doing great. Jerronne has two more months of A school. We are trying to get to P'Cola first of next month and another time before he comes home. I know he misses us as we miss him. o you talk to your sailor much? Praying for you and your family always. BIG HUG, your pictures are so lovely. Thanks for sharing them. I don't have anything, just relaxing! HAHA! I can't complain, the heat hasn't been too bad. I am so impatiently waiting for the Fall!! HAhA!

Thank you so much Denise for those kind words of encouragement. I received my son Daniel's "box" yesterday and was so disappointed that there was no note, but was happy just to see his "stuff" - almost as good as having him here! Today I received the form letter with a few words from him and that more than made up for it! I am so happy! I miss him so much, but I am so thankful that he joined the Navy especially with our new Commander in Chief, Barack Obama. I admire his much more diplomatic way of dealing with foreign policy.
Thank you for sharing your pictures, my son left for boot camp 6/23/09 and I am so sad because I miss him so much, but your pictures really picked me up, it gives me some idea where he is and that he is OK.
