Prehaps after the holidays are over we could meet up with Laura in GJ for lunch or something, even find some more of us.

Robin-Thanks for the note. I was beginning to think I was the only Colorado mom here. You have alot more connections than I do I guess. I think I will start a Colorado group. What took you guys to the other side of Colorado? We have been here since 1990. My husband was one of the managers for the County Market store by Sams when we moved here. The store is no more, but we are still here. We moved from ND and I like the winters here much better. Aaron should be done with a school mid december. He will be training for GM. I don't know about you but I had a harder time leaving him after PIR then when we left him in Denver. I grew up in the Army, so i am enjoying getting back into the military things.
Hi there!! Thank you for writing. Charlie will be a corpsman and will stay in Great Lakes for A school. I am excited about PIR, and although we are traveling an the budget plan....we wouldnt miss it. Bringing the whole gang. I know we cant all go to the ceremony, but his brother and sister and girlfriend all want to go and be there for him. He sounds excited too for all of us to came see him. Time is fast approaching and it will be before we know it!!!
its taken me all this time to get rested up before checking my site. We were supposed to get in at 8pm. But they gave us 100.00 free to anywhere we want to fly in the next year. Stephen is supposed to be at A school for 45 days. But his ear was hurting at boot camp and they just gave him so ear drops. And when he got to VA he went to the Dr. and he has a ruptured ear drum so he can not start training until it heals, the dr said if it does not heal he will get a medical discharge so I am praying it heals because he does not want to come home. I thought it would get better after boot camp but I guess I will always worry about him. Are you doing anything special for the 4th of July.
Just got back from PIR this morning at 3am our plane was delayed. We have friends from Fruita and and Cedar Ridge. Stephen just flew out for VA today for A school he is going to be MA. He is in the reserves for now so he can finish his last 2 years of school. Do you get to hear from your son very much?
Good to see friends from myspace here too.I stole the idea of guest book from another myspace navy mom so I don't mind sharing I know she won't either.Have a great weekend.
Robin:I know where Mack is. I've been there a few times. We do get to go to Sarah's PIR. We're very excited. She is doing well. A Colorado Mom's group would be good if there are other moms interested. Take good care and Jacob is in my prayers. You guys are having country jam this weekend, aren't you?
