Hello
We look forward to hearing about your sailors journey. How he/she likes being an MAA (MA) and which kind of job they are doing and how you are doing knowing what your sailor does for a living.
NOTE: Please help keep our sailors safe. Don't give out exact locations.Example: If he/she is in Iraq you can say Iraq but I would not say the name of the camp or a town near the camp. If they are on a ship don't give the last known location. Although some of that is public we don't in anyway want to jeopardize them.

Hi Holly
My Sailor arrived Sunday, very excited for the next chapter of his journey, he seems a little stressed out which is making me feel stressed as well, is your sone at the Air Force base or stationed some where else?

Hi Everyone! Looks like a bunch of new MA's on the horizon.  I know you're all very proud of your sailors decisions and accomplishments :-)  Welcome to the group!

My son has been an MA for about 3 1/2 years and he's always been big into mentoring the newer MA's so if there's a question I can't answer, he may be able to fill in the blanks.

We all share a common bond and are one big family so if anyone needs anything or has any questions, be sure to reach out for help.  You can always message me in the Navy Mom inbox and/or friend me, which is a sentiment that I'm sure is echoed by the other Navy Moms.

Wisconsinmom, I'm sure that right about now you're leaning on the other Mom's for support and have lots of questions and concerns - please let me know if there is anything I can help with.

Hello !!  I am a new MA mom. I have one son that was 13 yrs in the Army, totally different experience. I am a little nervous but very excited for my younger son. He is so proud of his achievements and is excited  and I am bursting with pride. He is in his first week of A school. The unknown is kinda scary.

Hello, My son is 2 weeks in Bahrain.  Doing classes for a couple of weeks until he starts duty as MAA.  Trying to speak with him using a wifi app not so good he breaks up.  We can text back and forth so am grateful for that.  Any pointers?  Missing him very much.

At Tonya
My son is in San Antonio he had liberty Friday until 8:30 pm. We met him at the airport at 2:00 AM.. Chicago Midway..
Some flights left as early as 6:00am - 5:00 pm.
You need to be at the airport with ID's so he can get you a gate pass when he is issued his boarding ticket. Long 2-3 days w/o sleep

Hi everyone, I'm new here.  I know my son will be graduating March 10th.  But I was wondering how much time we will get with him before he goes to A school in San Antonio?
