Our Blue Candle Glows (electric) for all of our SR, Sailors, Families and Friends.

I put the candle near our son's Navy photo and he and his brother hugging each other. Brings our attention to them every time we enter the room.

Missing my girl but I know she's doing just what she wanted to do. Excited for all of the growth and opportunity she will experience. I still miss her just the same, but without tears because I am so proud of her! Can't wait for her PIR on 9/8/17 :)

..Mom1997❤❤please know he's being fed, working hard, learning, and sleeping like a log..they are tired. He will be muscular, and full of pride at PIR graduation. And still tired :) Boot camp is all about learning teamwork, getting fit, following orders (for the good of the team/ship) marching as a unit, eating quickly, rising early! and succeeding in challengingTasks. The adventure has just begun....it gets better and better and better. My son said: "nobody likes boot camp, but we get thru it. " Light your blue candle and send blessings and positive thoughts to your boy :)

Hang in there Mom1997!!  It is very hard during the bootcamp days because you go for a long time before you get to hear something.  And all us Moms do is worry and wonder!!!!  Keep sending him letters and when he graduates you'll get to see just how much he's grown into a mature brand new sailor.  Your heart will have a hard time holding all that pride in!!!!!  Sending you cyber hugs to help you get through  {{{ . . }}}
