Hey JediGrey, my son Grayson said that he knows the Nuke kid from Marcus. We are still waiting on his Dep date.  All we know is that it will be in August. There was a mad rush to get him to move up his date and then three weeks of waiting. Meanwhile he's not sure when to give his notice to his employer. Oh well, it will be when it is, I guess.

Hi Nonie, my son graduated on the 7th of this month and I'm near the Rosenberg area. I got the I'm here call and the letter, but after that the girlfriend got the calls and letters. But she kept me up to date and I wrote him letters every day. Graduation was awesome. Be sure to make plans to go to Sarge's meet and greet the night before graduation.

Hi all, I'm Nonie and I'm new to this group. My daughter went to bootcamp Monday. I'm excited for her. I've been reading different info on Navy and PIR and already booked hotels for 2 weekends (all refundable). I never got the I'm here call, but did get a text. Her boyfriend is getting the calls, box and letter and he will let me know. Wish they could send 2.

Morning all!  I am in Lewisville / Flower Mound area (DFW) and my son is waiting to ship our for BT. Orginally he was to report on Jan 4, 2018 but they have moved him up. He leaves in August (haven't got the date yet) and we are now in "haul it" mode to get him ready.  He is going Nuke / Subs and can't wait.  He is excited and now, nervous. I see we have quite a few Nuke kids from DFW! Must be something in the water here. LOL

Good morning all.  I am from the Lubbock area.  My son will have his PIR July 21, 2017 and I can hardly wait.  Once done he will head back home the the great state of Texas for "A" school in San Antonio.

Tx Mom of Far Away Nuke - I love Fresco's but have never been to the Burleson location. Let me know when you are settled and I'll meet you there!

tsufish - Sounds great!  I'll be moving the week starting 07/25/17 (Tuesday) but will have free time afterwards.  Fresco's in Burleson is a personal favorite of mine to dine at or to sip a margarita.  :)
