Jesusintheboat,

She pulled the surprise off beautifully. She came in yesterday. I sent her a text in the morning and she said I will call you. When she didn't call, I called her. she told me then that she would call me when she got to her room. She never called. In about an hour, I heard her sister and cousin screaming her name. I rushed to the living room and she was there. She walked down the hall to her room and said I told you I would call you when I got to my room.

Thanks, Jesusintheboat. she doesn't know which day she is coming and she won't know until after graduation, on Thursday. At any rate, I am EXCITED!! She will be leaving for 5 years when she goes this time.

JamieA - Agreeing with others in prayer for your husband. Give him strength, Lord.

Everyone have a Blessed, prosperous, peaceful weekend. The weeks are going by so fast. My sailor will graduate A-school next week....so.. she's coming home for 15 days!!! She won't say the exact day so I 'm expecting boots in the house soon.

Praying for your husband, JamieA, and yes it can be tough. But my son asked me to write to him every day which I did, that helps and he pulled through great. Just write encouraging things funny things, as long as they get mail.

Hi everyone! Please help me pray for my husband who is currently on his 4th week in BC, I was able to talk to him last Saturday but it was just so heartbreaking to hear his voice like that, he sounds so exhausted or depressed, I don't know which one. :( Please help me ask God to please continue to guide and help my husband throughout bootcamp. Thank you very much. God Bless! <3

The work of righteousness shall be peace, and the effect of righteousness, quietness and assurance forever. Isaiah 32:17. Father God, I ask for Your touch, Your protection , Your blessing for all our sailors and all our military and their families in Jesus name. We all need You, Lord!

If anyone wants to be first, he must be the very last, and the servant of all.

Mark 9:35

Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. . . . look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.

Philippians 2:3–4

The World could use a lot more of both of these.

Praying for our Country and World.

Lord hear our Prayers.....
