Good Morning Ladies, How have you all been? Butterball so good to see you posted, hope all is well with you and your Family. BandMom hi, how are you? Hope all is well with your Sailor in San Diego!  Got Great News, My Son (Sailor) is coming home! I am so excited! he will be coming back to his Duty Station and coming home to visit. Not sure when but soon, then we will be taking him back to Coronado Island. Rented a Beach cottage right on the beach to unwind a bit and spend a day or so with him there. Sending best wishes to you all and to your Sailor's as well. Have a Great Day!

Good point on the balloons.  I think I’ll just send an amazon gift card. Thanks Ladies!

Deliveries to individual sailors in the barracks on base are not possible for security reasons.  Bake me a wish is as close as you can get, and they still have to go pick it up at the mailroom.

Happy Saturday Navy Moms, sorry haven't been on very much in a long while, but have been watching all of your comments. Things crazy here for my family. Well back to work, will be checking in again soon. Have a Blessed day.

Hello Happyone00, my son is also at GL for FC  A school. You can try Bake Me a Wish, they are gourmet baked goods and can ship overnight.

Hi, I’m looking for ideas to get my son a birthday cookie gram and balloons this Friday 4/27.  He is in GL FC A school.  Any ideas? Thanks!

Hello Tina, My son id also stationed in San Diego.  There are groups for all different ships.  Like Phoenixmom I have noticed that they are not real active.  However, they seem to pull together, when things are happening.  The Destroyer group became real active in the last week, because of Syria.  Hang in there.

How can I ask you a private question about what he’s going to be doing?

Comment by Phoenixmom on April 16, 2018 at 11:04pm

I have to let you know Tina that alot if those sites for San Diego no one really gets on or answers. If you can find what duty station try looking for their face book. That is how I am getting to learn things. And once you know what ship or carrier he may be on look for that site also and see if not the ship or carrier will have its ombudsman and face book page. Have a great Evening.

I don’t know. We were too busy asking dates and what his unit/ship was going to be etc. I’m really happy right now! Thank you and I’ve already joined the San Diego group!
